Fine pair of CPU extension cables
A high-quality twin pack from Cable Matters, made in the USA. Well-presented in a plastic pouch, unfussy and highly functional. I had no problems fitting one to my system's existing cable, plus it's great to have a spare if ever needed. I can't fault them.Highly recommended—5/5 stars

Nicely made
This is a 2 pack of 8 pin EPS CPU power extension cables (the ones that go at the top of the main board), these are necessary for larger cases, where the power supply may be a bit further away than the power supply cables allow. Using an extension is preferable to stretching a cable as that puts stress on the main board connector and the cabling, it also allows for optimum routing of the cables, making the machine neater and improving airflow. Each cable is 25cm / 10 inches longThe construction is consistent of other CableMatters products that I've reviewed before -- being of a good quality and reasonable price. The cables are protected in nylon braid and each end of the braid is prevented from fraying with a piece of heat shrink tubing. The cables have an outer diameter of 2mm and there are 4 x yellow (12V) cables and 4 x black ground cables. The extension end also has two mounting clips that allow it to be seated in the case, assuming a suitable rectangular hole is present in the case.

Cable Matters does it again
I really like Cable Matters' stuff. It's always well designed and well made. And these are no exception. There is nothing more frustrating when building a computer than a cable that won't quite reach. You can huff and puff, but you're ultimately stuck unless you've got an extension like this. Don't go cheap on this sort of stuff or you might regret it. Spend a little bit more and be sure you've got something effective.

Great quality
I've had some very cheap cables from other brands previously and I really wasn't happy with the quality, but these are worlds apart from those. Ok it's just a cable but I think it's worth getting these over the really cheap alternatives. They seem to be made by a company who actually cares about the quality of their products and although it's early days yet, I've so far experienced zero issues with them. I therefore thoroughly recommend them. I've only used one of the 2 in the pack, but they are both identical.

Extension cables
Thick and nicely braided pair of cables that are useful for gaining extra reach and giving some slack for better cable management. Note that the EPS end is in a 4+4 pin arrangement, so could be separated for 4 pin sockets, but probably you would only use these for the 8 pin ones that are more commonly used these days.

Exactly what I need for my PC case.
Some PC motherboards combined with certain cases and power supplies end up with a too short DC ATX CPU power cable that won't reach the rear of the motherboard. This cable solves that problem.Ruggedly built and a perfect fit on the connectors. The cable sleeving makes it safe to bring around those sharp edged metal corners on some cases. No worries about shorts or pulling loose. I've use da lot of Cable Matters products and these are the quality cables you'd expect from them.

Well constructed, just long enough.
Doing lots of bench repairs, testing and experiments requires interconnecting modules without having them installed in their final place thus required extensions these "helper" cords make handling modules outside case easier. And in on instance already, one cable was used to ease cable congestion in one case.

A useful extension to have on hand.
If I ever need a cable extension when working on PCs it almost always seems to be an EPS cable I'm in need of, so having a few on hand that don't break the bank is always nice!

Slight upgrade and good for extension
I used this on a new build and do like that the net keeps the cords and aesthetic neat in my build, other than that they seem to function very well, and there is no noticeable bottleneck or difference in performance.
