Drop it in - clean dishes await!
I was a little hesitant to purchase these Powerball tablets after having used solely liquid detergent for what seems like forever. I simply thought to myself that there was no way that a little tablet could get my dishes, especially the pots and pans with caked on messes clean. Boy was I wrong! After using these for nearly a month now, I can honestly say that these really do work amazingly well. The ease of use with these is so simple - you just open the tablet packing, drop into the main cycle receptacle, close the lid and let it do the work! No worrying about spilling liquid detergents any longer, fussing over powders, or needing to waste excess product in the pre-wash bin either! Somehow these tablets get my dishes sparkling clean every single time. Even when I have a huge load of dirty pans mixed with glass/crystal stemware, everything always comes out to a brilliant shine with no residue. I am one firm believer in Finish Powerball tablets now, and love the ease of use and the shiny clean results that they provide time after time!

One of the Best Detergents EVER
For as long as I can remember, I've had access to an automatic dishwasher for decades. I remember when I was a child, my parents had a pretty decent Whirlpool back in the day (about 20 years ago). There are two things that I remember about that Whirlpool. 1) It made washing dishes easier (I hated washing dishes by hand) and 2) we used a box of powdered Cascade for washing dishes (the kind in that metallic green box).As I grew older and moved away from home, I experienced probably about almost a dozen or so different automatic dishwashers of varying brands & ages in numerous different apartments/homes that either I lived in or my friends/family lived in. Of all those experiences, I can definitely say that they all washed dishes well. However I noticed that on occasion, sometimes glassware would have this white powdery residue on them and also, those "Glad" brand tupperware would sometimes get the same white residue that was sometimes even "caked" into the plastic with no way to remove it.Putting 2 & 2 together, I realized that this residue had to be the dishwasher detergent, as there is no way that just the dishwasher alone could do something like this. Having experienced various brands of detergents (liquid kind, generic, brand name, tablets, pure powder, powder "packets"), I've found that nearly all of them have always put this residue on my glasses/tupperware to some degree.... except one brand. Electrosol (renamed to the name we know as Finish).I've mainly had experience with the Finish Powerball Tablets, Fresh Scent, 60-Count  and the Finish Quantum Powerballs. Both of these products work wonders with getting my dishes clean but more importantly, these are the only two products that I've used that DON'T leave that nasty white residue on everything.

Better than Cascade...
We were a Cascade house for several years, using their detergent pods in the dishwasher and getting pretty clean dishes. One day Amazon decided that they could not ship Cascade to my house any more so I bought a box of Finish pods.Forks and spoons came out shinier somehow, glasses no longer had the occasional haze, tomato sauce didn't leave storage bins with that orange stain. I'm really surprised that these do a better job than Cascade and that's in a nearly thirty year old dishwasher and we rinse everything in hot water before loading it.Just like Cascade pods, Finish has varying levels and prices. Cheap and basic all the way up to the more high end high priced "ultra" cleaning.

Works very well on heavy duty. cleaning, foil wrapping sometimes requires scissors
We've been using the Finish liquid/gel for a couple of years and really like it. It gets our dishes clean and my glass ware is clear and bright, what else do you need? I ran out and there was a price reduction on these Powerball Tabs so I gave them a shot. They cleaned a heavy duty load of lasagna pans with no trouble - no residual grit or food or red tomato sauce on my white baking dishes or clear glass serving platters. Another load of plastic bowls and containers were clean with no greasy or slippery feeling left behind. My one star deduction is because of the foil wrapping around every single detergent tablet. If you're in a rush, this is obnoxious and some of them do not tear easily by hand, you need to get scissors. For my daily needs, the gel version of the Finish is just as good and easier to deal with every day.

Finish Powerball
I like this product because it works. I like the fact that when I run the dishwasher I just have removed the wrapper and place it on dispenser. I like the way it works because we rinse our dishes and then place them on the dishwasher and when they come out they look clean and bright. I was using the powder and I really didn't like it because most of it would stay on the dishes. I also use cascade and they were okay, not the best because the soap wouldn't dissolve and a piece would still be on the dispenser and sometimes the soap would end up on the dishes. I decided that I had to use a different product and when I did I use Finish Powerball because I was unhappy with the other products and I was willing to give myself another chance and so far I'm really happy I did. Also since we're getting meter is better to use my dishwasher instead of me washing the dishes.

Not only with this clean your dishes, but you will live longer and have a happier life. One of those three is true!
How exciting can I make a review of dishwasher detergent? Turns out, not very exciting at all! I wish I could report dishes came out looking just like I'd bought them at the store, that my glassware all turned into crystal, that my knives got sharpened just by washing them, and that food tasted better when prepared on plates cleaned by this product, but that wouldn't be true. What is true is that Finish has been my go-to dishwasher detergent for several years now as it consistently leaves my plates cleaner and streak-free (almost always, anyway) than other detergents I've tried. In the end, isn't that a good enough reason?

Great Buy
This is the best DW soap for our Edmonton water, used in combination with Finish Jet Dry. I was so happy to be able to buy this through Amazon at a much better price than in the grocery stores. Don't be misled by the picture showing 54 tabs, it is actually 60 as described.

This is a good product however I would caution people to remember a few points:1) The quality/settings of your dishwasher matter more than the cleaner.2) Our dishes became SIGNIFICANTLY cleaner after a cycle when started using Rinse Agent.3) Works as intended. But see little difference in leading brands.Really the difference in these products relate to the 'pod' type - gel, hardened powder, etc. These are like harder powder that come in individual wrappers. Gel Packs seem more environmentally friendly, although not as 'pre-use durable'.

Easy to use.
Fit perfectly in the soap dispenser. The lid easily closes. Dishes come out clean with no soap residue.
