I am a guy reviewing this.(Purchased for girlfriend)We are in agreement on this review:1. Flat.2. Old looking, and not in a good way like antique or well oil rubbed metal.3. Girlfriend said "We need to give this to Grandma Ruth". We don't have Grandma Rut! Looks like belongs in a nursing home4. Bottom looks like thin sheet metal was spun on a machine and bent forward. as a matter of fact thats exactly the tecnique that was used... kind of like when they make pots/pans for cooking. there are ugly stretch marks all over it.5. Looks like an ugly ash tray a metal worker would make in his/her shop.6. I wouldn't feed my cat out of this. Looks like would release all kinds of lead/mercury (this is not confirmed, so dont take this part seriously) but does look shady.*For people that think theirs arrived W/O a screw to connect base with the "tree". Check the bottom of the tree. They scree it in there. All you need to do is unscrew it, and then screw back in with the base. Now if its not there, then yes, its missing :)If you buy it and will keep, i recommend bending the brances to the side to make the tree more 3D like and realistic, but this may cause the branches to snap as they looks cheaply soldiered/welded in place. This thing looks flat like a spatula or a fly swatter.I looked on amazon for similar items and this one looked like it had the most potential, which is kind of sad as it turns out. I am discouraged from buying this particular product on amazon, BUT I think Amazon is awesome and have bought hundreds of items over the years.This thing is tiny... only the size of a standard kids' school ruler (12") I knew this going into this purchase... but just reminding you guys.

I had a slight problem that I was able to fix but not sure most would be able to or even try. The screw that was furnished to attaché the Tree to the base was not long enough for even one thread to grab hold. I ended up having to used a hack saw to cut orbit an 1/8 of an inch off of the bottom of the tree in order for the screw to work. Other than that, it is good quality. I do with it was a couple inches taller and wider to accommodate more jewelry, but overall, given the price I am satisfied.

I gave it 4 stars because it was not quite tall enough for most necklaces. It is ideal for rings, bracelets and some earrings.It is built of quality material and arrived undamaged and packed well. the tree itself is flat not 3D so you should know that before buying but I did and got it anyways because it is beautiful. The birds add a cute touch to it. The dish at the bottom is deep enough to hold the necklaces the tree cannot fit. overall I am very pleased with the Joy Jewelry Tree Display Stand.

This stand is a cute design with the little birds, but would be better if it was 3d. there are a lot of little branches but they are real close together and chains tend to want to tangle, The height is to short for longer chains unless you double up the chain this also adds to the tangle problem. I do like the fact that the base is a nice deep dish. It is nice for rings, smaller bracelets and maybe chokers. But as I said before longer necklaces chains then tend to tangle.

This would make a good gift. It came beautifully boxed in elegant black. The earring tree itself is a bronze/brass color. I would have given this 5 stars if it had any holes for pierced earrings. It's good for hoop and ear wire earrings and they look very pretty on this "tree". I think that for the price it's a great value.

I like the tree but I give it 3 stars because there's no directions and I had to figure out how to put it together by loosening the screw and putting it in the base. I was so confused at first, but then I got my screwdriver and knew what to do. Once you screw the tree into the base, it's pretty nice.

Quite pretty, and the recipient is quite happy with it.Note: Had a few very distinct scratches, but on the underside, so not worth returning. Also, the box was badly crushed (despite a blemish-free shipping container) and no longer suitable for giving as a gift. (I took it out of the original box, assembled, and boxed/wrapped it myself.)

Silver tone is okay but looks more like painted plastic. Branches are really small and couldn't hold any real jewelry. Also it's top heavy and tips unless jewelry is carefully counter balanced.
