Plus, the text-to-speech feature helps people with dyslexia or reading difficulties, and I found it to be clear and accurateOnce you get the product of it, it's very accurate, good for what you're paying (even though you are paying a lot) and performance is pretty good. but there are two things i'd say. battery life isn't perfect but if you charge it daily, it should have more than enough and it can take some fiddling to figure out and you have to keep it on the line so really good for someone who's dyslexic but probably not for someone with a kind of visual impairmentcharged the translation pen as soon as I received it, and I was pleasantly surprised by how quickly it reached full power. Using the pen is incredibly straightforward. You can simply scan the text in your textbook, and it instantly displays the translation! This feature makes studying much more efficient. About this for my elderly father-in-law who has macular degeneration. When we open the box on Christmas, it was already charged. The set up was easy. We immediately scanned some text on a bill that he had beside his chair. It read it correctly. He said that it has helped him with menus and restaurants. And that he feels like he can be a little more independent because of this device. It has made him want to seek out other devices like the glasses that operate the same way. For the price it was definitely worth it!

Fantastic that’s all J can use to describe this product. I purchase a lot of skin products from other countries the problem they rarely have English directions. I just ordered a few products From Japan that haven’t arrived yet now instead of trying to figure out what to do with them I can use this translator! Also my daughter and I are planning a trip to Asia this will come in so handy with reading menus , maps and so on! It is so small and comfortable to hold and is good for us lefty’s! How great is that!

We got this for our kid. It is ok. It picks up most words on he first pass. And the voice is easy to understand. I thought the dictionary would help define the word so that my kid could know what the unknown word meant, but instead it is just an English to Chinese dictionary and really just translates it.

But a little hard to scan book, like scanner misses some words no matter how slow you do it

Purchased for an upcoming trip to Italy. Testing here at home + with written text in our local Chinatown, the device works like a charm both online and offline. Very handy piece of tech!
