Authentic sauces with unique flavor profiles
Comes with two good-sized sauces, and we were excited to try something different. Both are creamy with a bit of a kick, one is definitely hotter but has less flavor. We prefer the milder one since you can really taste the flavor profile a lot better. It's a bit of an acquired taste for our American palate, but we’ve found a few ways to enjoy them after some trial and error. Our kids won’t touch them, though, too spicy and too "weird" for them.I like that this is a small business more than anything and would be interested in trying other items from this company. Its cool to taste things like from other countries despite our less cultured taste preferences and I hope others give these a chance!

Ingredients?
First time trying these sauces. We love experiencing different cuisines and Peruvian sauce was something that wasn't in our fridge so we ordered this set to try the two flavors.Pros:Fair tradesupports small farmerscompany is woman-ownedComes in glass bottles. I think food tastes best when packaged in glassCons:No information on ingredients on product pageNeither of the ones I received is both vegan and gluten freeWe've been putting a bit of chicken in a small crockpot on low with a couple of dollops of these sauces in the morning so they're ready for lunch or afternoon snacking when we're too busy to otherwise manage to make something nutritious. This is super simple to do and results in a tasty meal.

Both Sauces Were Delicious! - Egg, Peanut and Cracker Alert Though!
I received a set of 2 of the Peruana Sauce Variety Pack - Aji Amarillo Paste Peruvian Sauce and Rocoto Sauce - Peruvian Products Hot Sauce Variety Pack - 12.7 Ounce Bottles.WHY I ORDERED THESE:- We love to try different food, seasonings and sauces from different cultures.- The set of these 2 of the Peruana sounded interesting, so I though to give them a try.THE GOOD STUFF ABOUT THESE SAUCES:- The 2 Bottles that came in this set arrived very well packaged.- Interesting colors for both of the 2 Sauces.- Both of the sauces are truly delicious!- Both Sauces are very different from the typical style of Mexican Hot sauces we but in the USA.- Both Sauces are different in flavor, which is hard to describe. But both are about equal in spiciness.- It's hard to pick a fave between these two sauces. Both my Husband and I love them. Hubby is tending to favor the orange sauce. Me? I love them both equally.THE NOT SO GOOD STUFF ABOUT THESE SAUCES:- For my Husband and I, it would be rare for us to actually spend around $30 to buy 2 bottles of ANY kind of Sauce, once these are gone. They are so delicious, but really out of our price-range right now.- There are NO ingredients listed on the Amazon ad. WHY?- The ingredients are listed on the actual bottles, once you get them. But those ingredients are listed in VERY small text! On the RED labeled one, I could not even read with my magnifying glass! I had to rely on the macro lens on my camera to read that Red Label.LABEL INGREDIENTS - One Sauce has EGGS in it, and the other Sauce has PEANUTS in it:- Since the ingredients ARE NOT listed on the ad, I've tried to take decent photos and have included them in this review, for people who may have allergies!- I very sadly took 1 Star off for not clearly listing all of the ingredients on the ad so people can be informed about any allergy issues, BEFORE someone orders these!- RED LABEL is the yellow sauce, which is the Aji Amarillo Sauce. This one is a smooth Sauce. and has Eggs In it! So Folks who are allergic to EGGS need to be aware of this!- BLACK LABEL is the orange sauce, which is the Rocoto Sauce. This one is a bit chunkier and no eggs, bit it does have Peanuts in it! This one also has Soda Crackers in it, so I'd assume that means this one is NOT gluten Free. Folks with PEANUT or Gluten allergies need to be aware of this!CONCLUSION:- We really loved both of these yummy Sauces .and luckily, we don't have and any food allergiesBoth Sauces were delicious along with our corn chips and our bean and cheese burritos, which we had for dinner this evening.- Amazingly, we have already consumed about a third of each bottle, between the 2 of us. So, neither bottle of these Sauces are going to last us very long!- If only these 2 Sauces were not so expensive, I would definitely be buying more of each one right now!- We are both very, very happy with both of these sauces!

Creamy pepper sauces with a good bit of heat!
This is two glass bottles of sauces made in Peru. They arrived well intact. Each bottle has 12.7 ounces in it. There are two different sauces. An Aji Amarillo sauce and a Rocoto sauce. The Rocoto sauce is a spicy red pepper sauce. To taste it, it has heat! This is about a high 3 to 4 on a scale of 1 to 5. 5 being the most spicy. The texture is kind of a creamy sauce. The red peppers and spices make the creamy sauce on the thicker side. The flavor is very good. I can taste the red pepper and then a bunch of heat. The bottle says it is mild. I put this closer to having a lot of heat. The Aji Amarillo sauce is not quite as spicy. It reminds me of cooked banana peppers with some heat. This sauce is creamy. The heat is around a high 2 to 3 on the same scale.5 stars:These are tasty sauces that I can use for dipping, on top of rice or a quick dinner of sauteed vegetables and chicken or steak.

Taste ok but over priced for me
The media could not be loaded. I was not a fan of these sauces. The flavor is ok, but just seem odd to me personally.

Great flavor, taste lack a bit
The Peruana Sauce Variety Pack - Aji Amarillo Paste Peruvian Sauce and Rocoto Sauce - Peruvian Products Hot Sauce Variety Pack was delivered quickly and was in great shape. It was exactly as it was advertised, so there were no surprises. The flavors are decent and complement each other well. The rocoto and aji amarillo sauces are hot and they bring the dishes up a notch. I don't have a wide range of experience with Peruvian food, but this sauce is a good introduction. It is quite hot. In my opinion it lacked taste a little but top notch on flavor.

Heat is in the Tongue of the BeTaster
Both of these sauces are labelled as mild, with which I agree. I was able to detect a small amount of heat in the Rocoto sauce, but not much. I didn't notice any in the Aji Amarillo sauce. But please take my opinion with a grain of salt, as my go-to hot sauce is Marie Sharp's Hot Habanero Pepper Sauce. So in other words, my opinion regarding heat levels is likely skewed. The flavor of both sauces is nice. The Rocoto is a bit tangy, and as such was really good on beef. The Aji Amarillo sauce is more creamy and lightly flavored, and as such works well with fish and chicken breast. I like both of them, and will be adding these to my repertoire for the added variety.
