This is a truly beautiful, simple, elegant and well made little collection of three houses, one church, and five evergreen bottlebrush trees. All three houses are different, with variations in their height, dormers, chimneys, etc. The little church is in classic village style, with a cross atop the steeple. These pure white porcelain church and houses prettily and subtly sparkle with a very light touch of very fine glitter. This set also includes 4 little tea lights, one for each structure, and a convenient remote, so the entire vignette gently illuminates. These are lovely little buildings, quite perfect in their simplicity. The trees are basic green bottlebrush trees tipped in a dusting of snow. I will have this little village under the lowest boughs of my 5’ tabletop tree in a corner of our dining room. Peace, goodwill, and Happy Holidays to all!

10 stars for the actual ceramic houses but it can't go without saying, please ditch that landfill Styrofoam packaging, and also pretty please, we can get bottle trees if we want them for a village (and not the rite aid quality plastic stands for those, the wooden ones).Also, am I crazy but following the rule of design, it should be 5 houses or 3.Manufacturer, update your listing to not say "9" pieces but to say "4 houses, 5 bottle trees".This gets a 4 star for the ceramic houses and without being overly critical because those are so nice, it's not a 2 star.While the price isn't "excessive" vs other places (you know what I mean), shave some $$ off for those trees, please.

The silhouettes created by this winter holiday village scene is very recognizable. It is decorative and creates wonderful mood lighting. Ideal for those who want a minimalist but impactful holiday decor.
