EMT Leather Trauma Shears Holder (Shears Sheath) with Metal Clip (Right Sided)

This product works great. I'm an RN and work in the ER and I hate filling my pockets with junk so this allows me to always have my trauma shears on my person without cluttering up my pockets. My shears are secure and I do not feel like they are going to fall out even when I have to run. I'm right handed and have this on the back of my scrub pants but if you wanted to wear it on the front of your scrub pants and are right handed you may want to think about getting the left handed holder to be able to pull with your right hand. The quality seems good so far but I will update this review if things change in the future.

I've purchased several of these, not because mine broke (I've had my original for 4 years), but because I give them away to other nurses as gifts. They are amazing, and I never have to look for scissors/shears!

Ok the leather is good leather but...when the trauma shears are inserted the heavy handle hangs downward. After a few weeks the shears tend to slip out and land on the floor. The clip is in the wrong place to be balanced. There should be a snap to hold the shears in the holster. I can’t use the holster anymore for fear that the shears will fall out.

I bought these for my boyfriend and had to return them because he thought he'd look like a loser wearing them, but they were really nice and high-quality. Only downside is that my boyfriend would have used them to do a lot of casting, so I imagine it would have been hard to get the plaster mess off of them.

So this is my second holder for my shears. The first seemed to be made well my only issue was that it stretched very quickly resulting in the shears falling out. I had to throw in lots of thread to tighten it. My second purchase, the "leather" looks more like bonded leather or pleather. The quality is definitely not the same as my first purchase. We will see if this holds up as well. I just wish someone produced some actual quality products that don't have to be replaced every year. UPDATE: so after a little while of using I can confirm the "leather" has again stretched to a point where shears fall out constantly. My solution is to sew it so that it fits tighter and prevents my shears from falling out. This solution seem to be working so far.

these are a great accessory to my ems pants. theyre very good if you really dont want to go with fancy shmancy trauma pants and want to have your trauma shears on you 24/7. id buy another one in a heartbeat

I work on an ambulance, and I noticed the scissors getting a little loose after the first day, so tried opening them up to keep my scissors in. Unfortunately, my scissors are lost on some scene (and they were nice ones). This holster is not to be trusted, needs an extra clip or something to keep the scissors in place. Construction seems solid, and the idea is great. It just needs something to actually keep the scissors in place.
