FISCOTL8ME Tri-Lok Tape 8m / 26ft

The Fisco tapes are perfect for me. I am a female with small hands and the ergonomic design lets me push the tape lock slider down without using both thumbs. My last tape like this got 'stolen' and this new one is an updated design with the shock absorbing return thing in and I just love it. I make curtains for a living and the long stand-out allows me to work easily on my 2.5 metre long table. It is a lot of money but well worth it for me.

Tape bought to replace one that I'd had to 10 years+, which some fxxxxxg bxxxxxd nicked.

Very disappointed with the quality of the printing on this tape - the numbers and markings are fuzzy ('bleed', as in a poor photocopy) rather than crisply printed like Stanley and most of the other manufacturers' tapes. This is a Class 1 accuracy tape, but where the build quality of the case and tape stand-out are good, reading measurements from such a poorly printed tape doesn't inspire confidence - it feels cheap. I may have a dud - will have to look at another example but, if this is the case, then it says nothing for Fisco's quality control. I'd return it if I could be face the Post Office queue.Tools should be a pleasure to use, whereas this tape will most probably find a home in the dusty drawer of shame.
