I'm a long distance runner, socks are a big deal to me and I am a fan of theseThey are not particularly thick which I want, but the pro version which I have has an extra thick collar running above the heel to help against the dreaded ankle rubThey come in one size which I was a bit concerned about being a size 11, but they stretch on fine without pulling hard over my toes.The manufacturer notes on the Amazon page says they have compression support; I am glad to say they are not compression tight, not anything like itThe text on the Amazon page also says they are only for hand wash well the care tag says they are machine washable, which I have done at least four times now and they seem unaffectedIt does say that these should be washed at below 30c well I have ignored that and washed them at 40c and again I can not notice any shrink.After four hard runs wearing these I can say that my feet have been fine and even though they are not cheap I think these are as good as any I own and so well worth the cost.

Pros:1- These socks fit as expected. My shoe size is 8.5, and this fits perfectly.2- The material is breathable and light. You can even feel how breathable it is if you wear breathable shoes. I like the added more thick layer around the toe area. This was very important for me as I usually have blisters in that area.3- I washed it several times now and saw no difference in the quality.Cons:1- The high elastic cuffs were a little bit tight. I did not like it, so I had to bend them. However, this depends on your preference.2- If you wear unbreathable shoes and sweat a lot, then these might feel uncomfortable. I did not feel they had quick drying and moisture-wicking features, especially with unbreathable shoes.

Truthfully, I was a little bit disappointed in these socks. I was expecting them to be a lot thicker and provide a lot more support around the foot and not only be used for cycling but be good for running to. Sadly they're very thin and really don't help when it comes to running.They claim to be compression socks, but for me they feel quite baggy and loose, which is the opposite of what a compression sock should be. They fit quite well on the foot part, but they don't really provide much in the way of a tight compression feeling. Just basically another pair of thin socks. For this price I was really expecting something better.

I wear safety shoes and even though the collar is padded I find they still dig in a little.I love the padded section at the front pad area of your foot as this is the section of the foot thats gets sore and abrasions occur easily.The sock are not ankle sock and nor knee high socks but half way up your leg to protect your shins.I wear steel toe caps for work in a manual job and I am on my feet for many hours as well so comfortable non sweaty socks is a must for me. §i also like that these type of sports compression socks do not get holes in the toes after a couple of weeks of wearing them.Very happy with the comfort of these.

Having come fast foot off the back of a review for a traditionally styled thick winter sock, these are very Gerry Anderson.I may not have my flying car yet, but I have a pair of socks that seem very well engineered in ways I had never imagined a pair of socks being, or three pairs in this case, for the current asking price of £26.99.These are a mix of three-quarters nylon, with the remaining quarter being cotton (20%) and spandex (5%), and the latter is immediately noticeable in the stretch of these socks.The Nylon will be hard-wearing, and I was concerned about breathability, but the cotton in the blend seems sufficient as these wick well enough in regular wear and boast a wicking mesh according to the description. I'd, however, have more certainty had I reviewed these during our unseasonably hot June rather than the unseasonally wet and cold July.Comfort is good once the socks are on, but they do take more tug and pull than my default black cotton socks with colourful toes (easy to pair, doncha know).Practical considerations are then durability and longevity and are all beyond the scope of a new from the packet review, but hold the press. I have washed these, and I used the machine, okay, a cool regular eco wash, and they seem fine.Hand washing is recommended, which perhaps would extend longevity, but it is a bit of an ask for socks - especially ones aimed at sports activities which should be expected not only to be washed regularly but subject to perspiration and muck and mire if used for running and cycling.The price point of approximately £9 per pair is expensive, but you are getting the "technology", and from a sporting point of view, they stay put and are supportive, but a quick search on Amazon shows how many of my preferred black with coloured heel and toe socks I can get for nine quid...I'm sure there is value added in the technology that goes into these; whether they are 12 times the value (12 times durable?) of a regular pair of machine wash cotton socks is something I am less sure about.

Ich habe kürzlich bei einer mehrstündigen Radtour eines der drei verschiedenen Paar Sportsocken ausprobiert, ich bin recht beeindruckt.Zunächst einmal sehen die Socken mit ihrem ansprechenden Muster wirklich hübsch aus. Aber das Beste daran ist, dass sie nicht nur gut aussehen, sondern auch äußerst funktional sind. Die verstärkte Ferse und die Frottee-Polster in der Spitze sorgen für einen tollen Komfort, besonders während langer Radtouren.Was mich am meisten beeindruckt hat, ist, wie gut diese Socken in meinen Fahrradschuhen sitzen. Sie rutschen nicht, weder beim Radfahren noch beim Laufen. Das ist ein riesiger Pluspunkt.Ein weiterer bemerkenswerter Punkt ist, dass die Socken selbst nach einer durchaus anstrengenden Fahrt trocken blieben und immer noch wie neu aussahen. Das spricht für die Qualität und das Feuchtigkeitsmanagement dieser Socken.Was die Kundenfreundlichkeit betrifft, hat die Firma ein unschlagbares Angebot: Sollte man mit den Socken nicht zufrieden sein, können sie bei voller Rückerstattung zurückgesendet werden. Aber ehrlich gesagt, nach meiner Erfahrung werde ich meine Socken definitiv behalten!Insgesamt kann ich diese Sportsocken nur wärmstens empfehlen.

Gerade meine Großen (19,17,16) legen aktuell mehr Wert aufs Äußere und sind sportlich aktiv. Als das Angebot von Amazon war ich mir sicher, dass wie die Socken brauchen können.Der Versand war gewohnt schnell und der Artikel ausreichend verpackt.Aufgrund der Sportschuhe und die Sockenmacke meiner Kinder momentan beides in Weiß tragen zu müssen, viel auch hier natürlich die Wahl auf Weiß. Optisch und qualtitaiv war der erste Eindruck schonmal ganz gut, jedoch hatte ich Zweifel an der Flexibilität ...bis Gr. 12 für Männer?Aber ok, zunächst hat mein 17 Jähriger mit EU 43 1/2 die Socken anprobiert, und leider finden wir beide, dass sie zu eng anliegen. Vor ein paar Wochen hatten wir ähnliche Socken bekommen .. die waren für seine Füße besser geeignet. Meine Tochter (19) und mein zweiter Großer (16) tragen die Socken jetzt ..mit Größe 41-42 und die sitzen super. Sehr angenehm und wertig.Gerade bei meiner Tochter (Sprunggelenk OP) und meinem zweiten Großen (Lauftraining) kommen die Socken sehr gut an.Wir würden uns freuen wenn diese Socken eine lange Haltbarkeit haben ....das werden wir mit der Zeit feststellen. Vom Preis her muss ich da leider passen (da wünsche ich mich schon min. 6 Paar), das müssen meine Kids von ihrem künftige Azubigehalt selber entscheiden :)

Ich hatte mich wirklich auf die Socken gefreut. Leider waren statt 3 paar Socken nur 1 paar enthalten. Hab die Socken zurückgeschickt.

Ich habe die Socken in Rennradschuhen getestet (Touren um die zwei Stunden).+ Die Socken sitzen bequem und passen sich dem Fuß bzw. der Schuhgröße (ich trage Größe 41-42) gut an.+ Es gab bisher kein Scheuern und habe auch bislang auch keine Blasen bekommen.+ Leichte Verstärkungen um die Zehen, unter dem Vorderfuß und um den Knöchel; also genau dort, wo Socken schnell löchrig werden.+ Bei mir liegt die Höhe knapp auf halber Wadenhöhe, deutlich unter Kniestrümpfen und deutlich höher als über dem Knöchel. Eine gute Größe, vor allem bei kühleren Temperaturen. Was mich zum größten "Nachteil" bringt:- Bei Temperaturen um die 20 Grad war es mir im Radschuh zu warm. Ich habe darin geschwitzt, also für mich eher Socken für die Übergangszeit im Frühjahr oder Herbst.Ansonsten der Preis:Er ist hoch, ja, man muss sehen, wie lange die Socken halten. Wenn sie nicht so schnell durchscheuern und Löcher bekommen, sind sie für mich in Ordnung.Material:75% Nylon, 20% Baumwolle, 5% Elasthan.Den Vorteil des hohen Nylonanteils sehe ich darin, dass die Socken nicht so schnell ausbleichen. Das ist mir mit dunkelblauen Baumwollsocken passiert, die ich sonst zum Radfahren trage: Bündchen ausgebleicht, der Rest der Socke ist immer noch dunkelblau.Alles in allem:Gutes Material, gute Passform, angenehm zu tragen in Rennradschuhen.

Die Socken erinnern etwas an Thrombose-Strümpfe. Das Material ist ähnlich und sie sind sehr eng anliegend - was für Laufsocken erstmal gut ist.Was aber störend ist, die Zehenregion, die besonders anfällig für Druckstellen ist, ist mit dickerem Material ausgestattet und hat deutliche Nähkanten. Der Stoff liegt an den Zehen - zumindest bei mir - nicht eng genug an. Längere Laufstrecken sind daher für mich nicht möglich, ohne dass mir die Haut in der Zehenregion aufreibt oder es eben zu Druckstellen kommt.Ich bekam in den Socken sehr schnell kuschelig warme Füße. Beim Laufen - ich habe sie dann ausgezogen - sind die Füße schnell überhitzt und schwitzen stark.Insgesamt sind die Socken nicht schlecht, abends zum Fernsehen oder für den normalen Alltag - aber nicht um längere Strecken zu marschieren.Ich habe die Socken übrigens bei 60 Grad gewaschen - sie sind leicht geschrumpft, somit passten sie mir dann auch mit Größe 39. Ohne Schrumpfen waren sie mir zu groß. Es wurde empfohlen, die Socken unter 30 Grad zu waschen.
