Loved this generator. It’s quiet and easy to move around. Great power and not expensive to run.

I never managed to get this working. I suspect this device had already been returned once before as when I opened it, there was loads of oil lose on the bottom. It included tools which aren’t required for this device. The website where you can register the warranty for the generator is also no longer available. I’d steer clear of these.

Straightforward setup, runs perfectly, really quiet. Absolutely wonderful would recommend this product

New Review Dec 21. During a very recent 65 hour power cut during Storm Arwen Nov 2021 that took our village power out, our P1 generator provided us with power for our 3 chest freezers plus leisure battery charging to allow inverters with 240v Table lamps for the evenings, keep the vhf communications between our home and my mother in laws home across the village when the phones went off after approximately 12 hour mobile cell tower backup. I could not switch all freezers on at the same time because of the start up current is massive, but I could switch one on at a time and all 3 worked together perfectly. We ran the generator for approx 8 hours per day (2x4hours) and the food remained frozen. It was also taken to the mother in laws daily to maintain her freezer/fridge and charge further 12volt batteries for more table lamps. It never missed a beat, so we decided to buy a second generator which is the same as the one i have also reviewed on here 3 years ago, so the elderly Mother in law can also benefit and we have a back up for the back up. Remember to use Super unleaded E5 - NOT E10.Original Review of 2018. Use this for our caravan when not on hook up, runs for just over4.5 hours running an 800 watt halogen heater when the gas runs out,runs for approx 7-8 hours on a full tank ticking over up to 200 watts.Compared to friends Clarke 1000 watt silent generator the P1000 is muchquieter, and with a long 30m extension cable its hardly noticeable on full power. I changed the first cheap 30 grade mower oil after 1 hour from new not the 20 hours recommended and the oil was full of metal bits, then did another 10 hours running in on approx 800 watts on and off every few mins to wear in the bores, again on the mineral mower oil. My final oil i'm using is 5/30 fully synthetic. I would highlyrecommend this for caravan and back up use for fridges etc.

Easy to set up.Started easily.Although it is not loud it is a little noisier than I had hoped. But hey! It is a lot cheaper than a (quiet) Honda.

The generator is fine but it arrived with half the tools and the oil missing.

Quality product, very quiet, genuine output, get the first oil in and out after an hour, then second one after a couple of hours running, should last for years then, easy job comes with a screw in funnel and plenty of oil supplied, I can't get over how good it is for the money, one review I read said put in E5 grade super unleaded, I'll do that, very quiet, love it.

Great product except for one thing, the manual is WRONG. Refering to Page 8 and the bottom diagram of the Outlet Panel . The number Legend bears no relevance whatsoever to the diagram itself e.g the USB outlet number 4 is marked as the Overload Indicator Light Red.The Mains Outlet is marked as the Economy switch and so on. These errors do not fill me with any confidence in the manual, especially on a product that states on the outside that this equipment WILL kill you if you don't follow safety instructions. Hmmm. This is a very big mistake and I'm amazed Hyundai would let this happen! What has happened to their Quality Assurance? It would be good to get some kind of response!
