Perfect mini fan
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. I bought this mini fan for my work desk. It has been great for a couple months now. It is a tiny bit noisy (sounds like white noise) but I usually drown it out and it doesn’t bother my coworker either. It blows a good amount of air and there are two levels of speed for it which I love!! (See video) Also you would need a plug to use it. Currently I’m using my extra iPhone plug (see pictures) but I’m sure it can work with any plug! Anyway I’m very happy with it so far and the price couldn’t be beat 😁

Powerful Fan For Its Size
I needed a fan to replace the fan on my work desk which was on its last leg. Found this one and placed my order. The fan arrived earlier than scheduled....excellent! Its quiet. I wanted something a little noisier to drown out the silence in the office environment. It puts out a good amount of air for its size. Also, it appears to be built with quality in mind. Its not like the flimsy plastic one it replaced. The frame and grill are metal. Only the fan blades are plastic. I would highly recommend this fan and the seller.

Piece of trash, only lasted a month
I have hot flashes every 40 minutes because of medication (hey, it beats breast cancer!!!). I must have one of these little fans on my bed stand, running all night, so that when I wake up in a total sweat I can turn it on me until the flash is over. This one worked for about a month and then it started going wacky. The motor would run very slowly, the fan would barely go around, and then after a few minutes it would speed up a little. It also would make a thumping noise. So it is useless and I definitely do not trust it. So its a piece of trash. This is about the 5th fan I have gone through (been doing this for 6 years now), they usually last at least a year. But this piece of trash lasted a month and I paid twice as much for it because it has 2 speeds.DO NOT BUY THIS, IT IS A PIECE OF TRASH.

Small, Silent and Powerful little fan !!!
Great little fan for the price!! I have it plugged into the back of my smart tv and use it to keep the tv, my amazon fire stick and my wireless router cool. We all know that these electronics put off heat and this fan keeps everything cool to the touch. I will purchase it again for my other tv's and electronic devices.

Quiet with good air flow...
Great little fan. The motor is quiet but you do get the whir of the blades which creates some noise but I would expect that from any fan. It sits about 4 feet away from me and I can easily feel it when set to low. The high setting will blow paperwork I am reading around so I reserve that for when I really need it. Haven't been using it long so I can't speak to its durability but it feels solid (mostly metal) and well made.

Totally surprised by this fan. This is so cool (pun intended)
This fan is amazing, It's quiet and it does the job. I am in the middle east and my home does have AC, but not in all the rooms. This is where this fan shines. The fact that its get its power from a USB port, makes all the difference in the world. I do not have to worry about power cords or outlets. I have several external battery packs that I use to charge my cell phones and most of them are sitting in my dresser as I only need one. You would think it would drain your batteries after a couple of hours but that is simply not the case. When I am at the computer, I just plug it into the USB port there. The fan is compact, easy to carry in my backpack. I have since purchased a second fan so I can keep it at work instead of bringing it back and forth. I write very few reviews, but this one is a winner. Inexpensive, and highly functional.

dud, then replaced!
plugged into standard usb charger (where another fan was plugged in) to test and it ran for 10 seconds then stopped, then had a burning electronic smell so I returned. the one I purchased at a local hardware store is a little bigger and runs like a champ off usb power. I use it to pull cat litter smell out of bathroom window. it runs 24/7. this one ran less than ten seconds and died. I wanted to like it, really!UPDATED! seller contacted me and sent a replacement fan which works good. it is useful for celling small electronics or possibly having near your desk or bed. it moves a small amount of air but enough to do the job. good company that stood by their product!

Great breeze, very quiet!
Fan is very light weight, produces a surprisingly strong super quiet breeze. They probably kept the weight down with the plastic blades but the cage is metal and the all the wires are close enough that no matter how you pick it up you won't hurt yourself . The switch is on the back of the fan itself. And the power draw is small enough that it ran for hours on a tiny lipstick battery although you can plug it into any USB.

Great for those Offices that have people who like to be on Fire or in a Volcano and consider it too cold still.
Generates enough wind to blow into your face and is very quiet, quiet enough to have on your desk at work without annoying people near buy, unless they hate anything you do of course then you are never going to win? Hell in that case just turn it on anyway and put some paper in it.With wars often going on in the Office with "It's too cold please turn on the heating" when it's already 21c in the Office and im someone who get's uncomfortable when the temperature in the office is above 15c and others want it to be at 25c i often struggle to focus at work due to the heat, hence my purchase of thsi fan. It's large enough that it hits my face directly even from some distance away and the build quality is very good, if another product comes out i'd like some technology place into the vibration of the mount as the rubber mounts at the bottom do a good job but something better would be greatly sought after.

Super fan, great airflow
Excellent fan for the desk on hot days. Some reviewers have commented that it only creates a very weak airflow but I suspect that they have been using an unpowered USB socket as found on a laptop, for example. It is necessary - as with all USB powered motors - to use a USB charger socket, which delivers enough current to drive the motor. The lower the current, the slower the fan will run. My fan delivers an excellent cooling flow of air when run from a charger socket. Amazon sell USB charger plugs very inexpensively (as used for charging Kindle readers or phones).

Not the F501
I was expecting an F501 but instead got an F401. A little put off by that, but let's see how it fairs in general use. It's fairly loud, louder than some casual three-speed table fans, I think the noise is due to bad dampening. It's very sturdy, which I'm quite impressed by, and good build quality. It pushes a very good amount of air, I might call my CPU with it. :D..Okay, so the vibrating is because of the motor mounting being off centre. The fan itself and the motor are quiet, but the casing/fan mount is the cause which as far as I can tell is unfixable.I'll update the review once I've used it a bit more.

Wrong fan?
Opolar F501 advertised with transparent plastic blades and silent operation.Reviews from other customers had pictures with transparent plastic blades, looked exactly as advertised and described as quiet. The one I received had embossed metal blades and the operation was far from 'silent', in my opinion definitely not what was being reviewed on youtube and recommended/demonstrated by podcasters.Package came inside an amazon box but was still worn and battered with no form of sealing, possibility of being opened and replaced if I give benefit of doubt, but I got a refund still.PS. Pictures of the fan being advertised showed 3 rubber stoppers/feet attached to the fan, but the one I received had 4.

why are you looking here? just buy it
I expected it to be more powerful, but what a fool I was thinking that USB can be as powerful as one connected via plug. With that said tho, this is a great fan that runs on USB. I highly recomenned anyone that always has USB next to them; laptop, computer, charger, powerbank. It's bigger than a whole hand wide open.
