Cutter is well built and commercial grade. Makes cutting your potatoes a lot easier and more uniform.

Works decently enough, but unfortunately breaks easily. The blades began separating and bending after only a few uses. I tried to replace the blade, but nothing fits even if its the same size. The shape is wrong for every other brand. It was cheaper than most other options, but someday I want to upgrade to a more durable slicer consistent with other replaceable implements.

All joints, seams are snug with no gaps or flaws. All moving parts works smoothly and easily. All parts connections are strong.This is a professional tool and will process a large amount of food in a small amount of time. It is not foldable - it will take up some space. The quality of the cutting piece is exceptional and is very sharp. The cuts are quick and consistent. This would be especially useful for a large family or group.

I was very excited to use this for making sweet potato fries… absolutely IMPOSSIBLE! ( -1 star) It doesn’t advertise that it will cut sweet potatoes but I figured at that price and being a solid steel appliance that it would. Wrong.However, for red potatoes and other soft veggies, it works great and is way quicker than a knife. Clean up is very, very easy and quick. It’s a nice extra to have around the kitchen if you make lots of fries or other sliced veggies.

I’ve tried other fry cutters in the past. None were really strong enough. This ‘Ruooson Professional Potato Cutter Slicer’ is strong enough to handle almost all potatoes, for the really tough tubers, like sweet potatoes, I slice them once to reduce the load on the pusher’ then they go through fine.Yes, it’s another kitchen tool. It is super handy when making fries for a weekend BBQ!I made way too many fries when I received this. The double cook method works best.
