Before I bought the cake cutter I used a large knife. Most of the time I cut straight, but with the cake cutter I’m cutting definitely straight. But you have to keep the cake stable and pressed against something solid or the cake move about. Cake must also be cold. But I love the fact you can adjust height. So I do recommend

Don’t bother with this. Cheap and not up to the job. Broke after a couple of uses. I’m not an amateur baker and only bought this after my slicer of many years gave up the ghost. I will be purchasing a professional leveller. You truly do get what you pay for.

Far easier than using a knife to cut a sponge.Straight cuts. Simplifies the job.

Does a cracking job.Best piece of advise I could offer is to cut the cake whilst as soon as you can safely once its out the oven.When cutting, use a back and forth 'sawing' action to stop the wire from biting into the sponge and ripping it.

The feet kept falling off until I glued them on other than that it does the trick

Many diferent products for cake cutting on the market, I choosed this one because it is not taking alot of storage space, it goes flat in my drower and anywere else really. Does the cutting well, so I am very happy with the product.

This is the best item I have brought it worked so well and made my cakes al the same size with ease! A must have for any cake maker!
