Does the job
Bought this for my emergency bags.Pros:- completely foldable makes it perfect for emergency bags- material feels solid, even when filled with waterCons:- Opening is small, so I can imagine it's hard to clean...plus after you use it, there's no really good way to leave the opening open to let it dry out. Great thing was, the water "wicked away" pretty well, leaving only a little bit of water at the end.- Seams, handle and tether for closure clip don't seem all that sturdy. The seams go all the way to the edge, which is kind of scary!Of course, test it it out before you pack it away for emergencies! and then air it out. I used a coat hanger (a blunt end) shoved in the opening to keep it open so it would dry out.

Nice water bag for what I need
I needed an inexpensive water bag to use for a couple days of backpacking. I was careful with it to prevent damage and it did the job. I only filled it about ¾ full and was sure to keep the opening up just to be careful. The cord holding the clip to the handle is short and kept falling out. Replacing it with a longer piece of fishing line would fix the problem. I used 3 bags and none of the leaked or failed.

Tough
This water bag worked great for me while retrieving water from the river while on a recent hiking trip. I was a little concerned about the seal system this bottle employees as a lid but it never leaked in my backpack. Much less expensive than a Platypus bag and seems to be very durable.

What a great idea.
I bought these for an emergency kit that I put together for my family and they are such a great idea. When I was a kid and we'd go camping, my parents had the kind that were made of harder plastic (and probably BPAs) and they took up so much room because they'd never flatten. These bags look perfect. They are lighter weight than the harder plastic water jugs and they can be folded flat when empty. Although I bought these for my emergency kit, I think I'm going to order at least one more for my mother to take with her to the cemetery so she won't have to make a lot of trips to the faucet to water plants. There are actually a lot of uses for these bags and I thought they were fairly priced.

Line too short, pulls slider off.
The line attached to the slider is far too short and pulls it off when the bag sags or falls over. This happened on the back seat of my car, resulting in 2 gallons of water soaking into the seat and carpet. Now one could cut the line off in the middle and knot a section of string in. But I’m reluctant to trust the slider now so I ditched the bag. It’s probably fine for carrying water at a camp site or something similar but I don’t recommend it for storage and vehicle transport.

inexpensive, light, and not too bulky. If you leave it in the sun, possibly backed up by a reflective space blanket, and allow the water temperature to get over 150 degrees, most pathogens can be rendered harmless

Did exactly what it was supposed to do.
Didn't have any issues with this leaking water, it's ultra light weight, and was a LIFE SAVER on our last trip. The nearest water souce from our camp site was a good 300+ yards out, with over half of that being up hill. We couldn't camp closer to the source, as it was a river in a heavily bear populated area. This made the trip a success, without it we might have ended up leaving early.

Thick, weighty but nicely compact
Bought for longer term water supply for go kit, but remember that two gallons will be heavy when this bag is full

Awesome water holders. No complaints.
Had a chance to run these in the field and they are absolutely amazing. There is some care that needs to be taken with them as they are plastic base but if used PROPERLY they will hold up. They compact own very nicely for BOB kits or camping uses. Will deff be buying more as needed.

Seems like a good product but I'll be returning it for a safer type of plastic. It's made from PVC and after some research it just seems like a bad idea for long term water storage.

I use it for when I'm up north working in camps. I use it to take filtered water back to my camp room; works well for me!
