Edge banding

If yours arrive like they are glued together, don't get mad. Use a thin putty knife, not a sharp blade, and slip it slowly between the stuck parts. For storage, I put something (wax paper, thin piece of wood) between the clamping points and it's OK. They do work well.

Great item for holding items in place; good value for your money.

This is a great idea. Perfect for clamping wood strips to the edge of a board. Probably a few other advantages too. Excellent quality. I've got lots of C-clamps and spring clamps but this is unique. "How do you glue something to the edge of a board?" My best answer has been masking tape, but it only works reliably 50 percent of the time. There's no way to put the joint under tension. These clamps have rubber (?) straps that stretch slightly. Plus, the pads are completely smooth to prevent marring the target.

These are VERY nice and VERY handy clamps. They are also a genuinely better design that makes them more effective in many situations. My wife is currently using the four I purchased to hold quilt fabric on a layout board for pinning, and I'll be luck if I ever get these puppies back. The plastic construction is quality plastic with no sharp edges anywhere, which makes them very friendly to use, too.

These are great clamps but IMO they should be referred to as medium size, not large. For reference, they are barely large enough to clamp two 2x4's together.
