Surprising sound!
Always been a fan of Pyle from way back, and after trying some BT earbuds and not liking either the fit or the sound, I thought I'd try a set of these conduction speakers. I trust the brand, let's try it out. Charging took about an hour and pairing was a breeze, the fit and the feel are quite comfortable and overall are very light. If you don't use the earplugs, you won't like the sound as it's tinny and distant. Put in the shapeable foam ear plugs and hang on. FULL sound, lots of bass and it's like you feel the music more than hear it. I was quite surprised with the performance and when I'm power walking, these stay where I put them and keep me moving for miles. If earbuds don't work for you, whether it's fit, sound or comfort, try conduction and definitely use Pyle! Great value for the money, too.

Updated: 2 Months Later
At first, I experienced a liberating sensation with this bone conducting headset. There is something really cool about hearing the sound without an earbud shoved in my ears. In short, I love it. The item was well packaged and appears to be of high quality. Worked fine right out of the box. Pairing was straightforward.I've bought other Pyle products in the past, and this has lived up to my expectations.UPDATE Feb 2020: This device stopped taking a charge after about two months of use. The light simply would not illuminate anymore. Amazon said they would notify the company to send me a new one, however the company contacted me and refused. Wanted me to ship it back to them at my expense and give them an open CC authorization to pay for the return shipping and handling. Also said I need to wait 6-8 weeks for repair to be made.

An interesting audio experience
This is my first foray into conduction headphones. Here are the pros and cons I have noted in the couple of weeks that I've been using them.First the Pros:* I've used them to listen to music, podcasts, and even video games - all delivered good audible sound. I was warned that the bass-levels were low, but I have no complaints about that.* They've lasted at least 5 hours on a single charge (they might have potentially lasted longer - this is just the longest time period I've used them between charges).* They have pretty good range - I've moved at least 40 feet from my phone before the audio became choppy.* The power button is very sensitive and it's easy to turn the headphones off and on.* The devices I've used it with (PC, phone, tablet) have all synced easily and stayed synced while using the headphones. And the Cons:* The charger for the headphones is non-uniform. It's a USB connector on one end and 4 pin connector to the headphones on the other. So acquiring replacement or additional chargers might be difficult.* The headphones fit well, but are not at all size-adjustable. And I wear glasses, which also makes positioning them on my noggin a little difficult. They do still work, just not as well as I suspect they could. Even when I place them high on my skull, the audio comes through very well in a quiet environment.* Unless you use the included ear plugs, these headphones do not do well in noisy environments. But that's to be expected.* While the super-sensitive controls are a plus, they can also be a nuisance. I found myself inadvertently placing phone calls a few times as I bumbled the buttons, but that's probably more on my ham-fistedness than any fault of the controls.Update many months later...The right ear of these headphones stopped working after bout 4 months. It took me a couple of months to ship the headset back for warranty service, but they replaced this defective pair with a brand new pair that's been working great. The downside - I had to pay for shipping both ways.My final update (a few days after receiving my replacement headset)...The right earphone stopped working the second time I used the replacement headset. I won't be sending this headset back in for warranty service - it will be left-ear only until that stops working and this thing finds its way to the next electronic recycling event I see.

Not complete garbage. I mean, you get what you pay for most times...
I shall attempt to bullet point my opinions as I've used it so far:1. On the electric scooter at 20-30 mph, cannot hear a darned thing in these.2. In the warehouse at work, not bad but not good enough to continue using. I found it more annoying to be on my head/face in such an environment.3. Not bad for watching TV in the living room while my roommate's guests are milling around not watching it, I can hear the show or movie just fine while still maintaining awareness of the current subject matter being spoken about in the room.Overall, I am not returning it. It is not defective, it's just cheap.I was looking at multiple different brands, from $30 to $79 to $159, and I'm thinking the $79 ones may be proper for me but I'm not sure I care to make the expenditure as I've had a lovely habit for years now of just wearing one of my earbuds and keeping the other ear completely free for safety.I hope these brief and vague opinions help somebody else to decide. Bottom of the barrel is a good starting point for experiments but I'm suggesting you go up one tier to begin your experimenting. These things kind of suck.

Great for running!
I bought these because my LG HBS-1100 headset broke. I had heard about other bone conductive headphones and figured I'd give these a try. As a introductory pair to the technology these are fantastic. They provide excellent quality sound in a method where I can still hear everything else around me. The noise others will hear from them is minimal. Unless your in a totally quite space no one will be able to hear what you are listening to.The one place where these need improvement are the controls. The volume up and down are excellently place and need no adjustment, but the call/answer/power button seems extremely sensitive. I've inadvertently called my wife while doing pull-downs at the gym. Really any movement that requires your arms go above your head can hit that button and you end up "Neck Dialing" the last person on your recent calls list.In all these are a great buy for the money. I wouldn't expect the same quality of sound as from a traditional set of closed headphones, but the quality is still great for audio books and podcasts. I don't think your going to get that quality of sound no matter what bone conductive headphones you buy though. 8/10 would buy again.

Didn't last one bike-ride
It needs to be on full-blast to be heard on a bike, and when it is, it vibrates aheads the head in a concerning way. Even then, it didn't last one ride - about an hour
