McCormick spices are really good to start with and these four baking spices are great. They are packaged so as to NOT break, which is a real relief when so many things I order end up being broken.

What can I say....McCormick products are unbeatable.

While I've started relying on specialty spices from specialty retailers, I've grown up using McCormick spices, and I still use many for seldom used spices such as baking spices. Thus giving this set a go seemed natural.The spices are fresh--very fresh. I hope that's something that continues (I'm assuming this set is new on Amazon, this all inventory should be fresh). Some older spices tend to all smell the same, and these can be easily identified with your eyes closed. I suppose this is a mixed blessing, as the spices lack ideal labeling for a crowded cabinet, drawer, or spice rack. All are labeled, but these labels aren't overly easy to read and are centered vertically. Labels on the caps would really help. Likewise the overall experience is akin to what you may have gotten 10, 20, or even 30 years ago. Not a huge problem, but I wonder if tall glass bottles with minimal labels is what's best in 2018.
