Pleased with the mat. This might not be the doormat for you if you are looking for a cute, dainty doormat with perfectly aligned edges and cut pile. Doormat bears resemblance to something handmade and definitely looks a little rugged/rustic.

This mat is twice as thick as expected, I have to step up before entering my home! I would have preferred something half that thickness, but choice is limited for this size mat. It's very good quality, so I decided to keep it and get used to the thickness.

We got this mat for about $8.50 for our dog to lay on and it has been great. I could see how it may not hold up to it's intended use to wipe your feet at the door over time. But, if you can get this for under $10 for a dog bed - it is a good value.

I got a dog house for my Sulcata tortoise and wanted to cover the bare wood floor to, you know, make it more plush and comfy for him. I tried some individual woven grass mats (see photo) usually used for bunnies but he kept making an untidy mess of them and since housekeeping is off during the pandemic, I got tired of rearranging the mats! So I bought this thick sisal door mat, which just happened to be a perfect (tight) fit on the interior of his condo and voila! A thick, plushy, comfy floor that any tortoise would be envious of. Even people, too. You can see the mat inside the tortoise house!

I have this mat under an overhang at back door entry way. There are 2 problems: it sheds constantly and with even a light rain it soaks up moisture and stays squishy for days. Defeats the purpose of having a mat to wipe feet. Drags moisture and straw into the house !I kept it too long hoping that it would stop shedding. It didn't.

Outdoor/door mats..they are the best and last longer than others...also like that they are plain..very nice.

This mat has continued to shed fibers since we purchased it several months ago. I expected better quality for the price.

Much thicker than I expected but will work great.
