Tamiya Italeri 2748 1:48 AH-64D Apache Longbow

Fantastic kit for its age, lots of detail and technical elements to keep the military and aviation modeller happy. A great kit for the price and providing you take your time and dry and test before glue then everything works well. Regarding improvements to the kit, I think these will come in time with the new cockpits and possibly some photo-etch but overall I would rate this kit high. Arrived swiftly and very well packaged. Great work Amazon and supplier.

My first model build and an expensive one! The model is cheap but as a someone new toModelling I bought two models, because you will lose pieces of your not careful and the pieces are tiny!! The detail is insane but you got to work with high quality paints, Vallejo!!Anyway the model took 30 hours from start to finish with a further ten hours studying on YouTube! I love it though and can’t believe I did it myself, I’m 39 and it was a joy of an experience.

This kit is formed from the cheapest styrene possible and has terrible fit and moulding errors. The filler required is a challenge. It's a tragedy this kit is allowed to be sold tbh.The cockpit is from an AH-64A, not a D model and the D model skirtings are just a pathetic add-on to a decades old A model casting. Don't waste your money on this and buy the Hasegawa 1/48 kit if you can find it.The instructions and some of the fitaments are just pure guesswork also. This is undoubtedly the worse kit I've ever assembled. That's coming from Academy's excellent AH-1Z Viper release.I'm begging you.. don't be tempted by the reviews. Buy the Hasegawa kit instead.

A bit fiddly with some assembling, but Overall its a good kit.

I liked the level of detail and clear instruction manual.

Mint model

This is by far the worse model I have had to make....Parts did not fit together well. Fuselagewell off so lots of filling and sanding to try and get it to look right.Instructions in some areas were misleading and had to try and figure out from real pictures how it looked and fitted together.Finally when doing the decals they were larger decaks than where they should have been in on the model, It is as if the were scaled at 1/35 . Not the 1/48....Very disappointed as I had actually scratch build 2 pilots to go in the cockpit to compliment the build....Will be sticking to other 'better' manufacturers nice time.

This is my 2nd Revell model kit and I think also the last one. Pieces don't fit together, instructions unclear, huge gaps everywhere. If you like challange and scream in frustration, go for it...

The building process started out well enough but it soon became apparent this kit was from a very outdated mold and some additional parts served as a conversion of sorts.. Many pieces had to be filed down or have the original structure cut away to result in the vehicle pictured on the box. No part of this model had a clean fit. There were gaps everywhere and misalignments everywhere. Some of the smaller fine parts were broken on the sprues. It became more of a chore to assemble after a while An extremely disappointing purchase considering the price.

The landing gear was next to impossible. Very poor instructions. I won’t buy it again. I go with REVELL. These other model maker’s are a joke when they relay instruction.

Buena calidad y envió rápido, aun no lo e montado pero parece de buena calidad.

Maqueta de calidad media. Tiene muchos detalles, aunque no es posible una buena ejecución porque muchas piezas sólo pueden ser ensambladas gracias al cemento. Esto es, no tienen punto de apoyo claro; en algunsas ocasiones tanto piezas como pegatinas se han de poner usando la imaginación. Varios errores en las instrucciones, con lo que de nuevo emplearemos sentido común e imaginación. El aspecto final no es malo, pero se aleja mucho de otros fabricantes. Hecho en falta las figuras de los pilotos. Me apena que una leyenda en helicópteros no se haya tratado con más mimo.
