Probably the Best Indian Ready Meal I've Tried
This is my favourite Indian ready meal that I've come across from any supermarket. Great flavour and a good quantity of high quality chicken. Reasonably priced especially when on special offer.

Not bad, but could have been spicier
Tasty, but needed more spice, and more sauce. I wish it wasn’t always breast meat in supermarket meals. Thigh meat absorbs flavour, and breast can be dry. I make chicken curries of various kinds and never use just breast meat.

Nice taste but not enough sauce and WAY too much onion
Update Jan 2022: Just bought some more of these but 2 arrived damaged and the sauce had leaked out and left a hole in the bag (see photos). Got a refund easily enough but this is still disappointing.Original review:Taste was nice but not really hot enough for a Madras. Chicken was good quality too.Packaging was bigger than I expected but there simply wasn’t enough inside, and much of what was there was padded out with large chunks of onion. They could easily have added more sauce and Madras should never have onion in! At least the onion pieces were large enough to be removed, unlike Kohinoor’s sauce that I no longer buy due to the excessive onion.I bought some naan bread to eat with this but the sauce was mostly gone with the first piece.Booths, please lose the onion and add more sauce!

Nice
A very nice madras, spice just right for me and lovely on a cold day, with some rice.

A bit more chicken would be just right

I only review stuff I didn't like when it comes to food.
Not anything like a good Madras. I accept that supermarket madras dishes vary but this was some degree worse than Asda, Sainsburys, Tesco, Lidl, Aldi, Morrisons, Iceland, and the various smaller shops like Co-op, Waitrose, M&S, Booths, Budgens and the UKs suite of local corner shop brands too. I buy Madras from all of these and generally eat it and don't think about it but this one was really hard to eat and genuinely not well flavoured or spiced and the chicken was really poor.
