Amelia Bedelia Chapter Book #12: Amelia Bedelia Digs In

My daughter loves all the Amelia Bedelia books. They an easy read and so funny. Great price too!

My daughter started reading this series at three. She was a very early reader and we had trouble finding chapter books that had developmentally appropriate content. These books allowed her to challenge herself to read at her level while remaining wholly appropriate. She has since read her copies of all of them at least ten times over. It is a great series and we always get excited for the latest book!

The later books seem to focus on other characters more than Amelia Bedelia. Still good but…more Amelia please.

My daughter loves these series. She usually finishes the whole in a day or so. Every easy to read and entertaining. Enough to keep my daughter interested for a couple of hours. My daughter started when she was 7. We get he a new book in the series every couple of weeks.

My little girl (almost 8) chose this book as her "beach read" for the summer. She read it cover to cover right away and loved it! I hope this series will continue!

Very sweet and funny book.

We usually love Amelia .... but this book was rather hard to read. I don’t know if it was the way the sentences were structured, or the way it appeared in the page.. but it was difficult to grasp what was going on with the characters conversations. I feel like words or even sentences were left out. We did get the gist of the story Line and that was good. My daughter is happy at least.

Review by G., 5.5 years old: I loved that Jason, Roger, and Amelia Bedelia went surfing. Also, i loved Blackberry Island, all the blackberries, and Bob's father's old cottage there. I wish I could taste those blackberries!

This is my favrote one so far!!!I love the joke words,but i thought that there wasn't much until i got to the end and realized how many i read without realizing they were joke words!!I think its funny how amelia bedelia respons to the joke words!!!!!!!!

No complaints! Great book series...my 6 years old loves it.
