Great moka pot for being so small
I showed you my kitchen so you could see that I have plenty of room for an espresso machine. I personally do not like espresso, but my husband loves them. I have been downsizing a lot countertop appliances. For example, I had a very large Keurig that had all the bells and whistles, but during prime days in October, I purchased the small sleek Keurig and gave my large one away. I do not like clutter. My husband has wanted an espresso machine, basically like the size a barista would use for our home. I wouldn’t say that it was a source of contention between us, but we definitely had different opinions about purchasing a large espresso maker. I began searching for a moka pot that was small and similar to the ones in every home in Italy. This one definitely fit what I was looking for. The price point was set at a price that was comparable to other small moka pots, it was user friendly with easy to follow instructions so my husband could make himself a cup of espresso,( he has 0% of mechanical skills) and easy to clean so I could wash it and put it away. As you can see in the photos, it is smaller than a butter knife. Additionally, it has a nice look to it so if we do have guests who would like an espresso, I would not mind taking it out and using it in front of people. I’m sorry if that sounded a bit snobbish, but I speak my truth. I honestly can’t give a single con about this part. I know that I do give a lot of five star reviews, but that is because I do my research. I am not one who will only buy something inexpensive because it is or go in the other direction of expensive because, I want to put on a front. If I didn’t like the product I would say so. Lastly, it is important that you use fine coffee grinds because that is what makes this moka pot taste authentic as the ones that we did have in Italy.
