This is a great trash/recycling container. It has handles on both sides, so it's easy to move it around. It included two bags of liners - they are a little big for the size I ordered but still work pretty well. The lids are soft-close (yay) and the pedals work great.My only mistake was ordering the smaller size. It works well for a 1- or 2-person household, but my family uses a lot of medium/big recycling containers - like the 2-liter bottle of lemonade in the picture - and we don't take out the recycling as often, so this trash can ends up not working for us because we still need an extra paper bag next to the trash can. Also, my city doesn't allow the recycling to be thrown out inside plastic bags, and the receptacle is too small to fit a regular size grocery paper bag, so there's that.Obviously we can still use it as dual trash cans, or have one side for garbage and the other for compost, but I haven't figured out if that's what we're going to do. Other than that, it's a nice-looking trash can that can fit under the kitchen counter and last for many years.

I was shocked at how short this trashcan was. I was expecting a typical sized trash can for a kitchen but it is about half the size (height-wise). Also, the lid mechanism is pretty weak and the lid doesn't close all the way shut when there is a trashbag inside. The trashbags also are difficult to keep pulled down when putting the inner can back inside the outer can.The good thing about this trashcan is that it offers a dual option.

You know you are getting old when a garbage can excites you :P However, I have been hating our recycling "area" for a while now. Even though it is in the pantry and no one can see it except us - it looked junkie. Got this dual trash can and I am so happy with it! It was packaged really well (I did have an issue with one of the interior cans being jammed in and needed to get a knife and pry it out - but I think that was a shipping issue not a product issue). It has soft close lids that are nice but you can also snap them open to keep them open when needed. The interior cans come out so you can dump them. I'm so happy with how much cleaner this new can makes the area!! :)
