When my secateurs arrived, I’d never seen such a well-dressed garden implement as they were practically gift-boxed, which suggested to me that they really cared about their product. You’ll see what I mean when you open yours.For such a small garden implement, the Flora Guard pruning shears are as robust and sharp as they come and a quick test around a snowy garden proved my point. The shears feel very comfortable to grip and the thick chunky cutter needed very little pressure to sever some relatively thick branches.A locking mechanism ensures the secateurs remain safely closed when not in use and with a quick clean they could be returned to their original gift box keeping them safe from moisture due to the floral foam which has been moulded to the shape of the shears.In summary, a good quality garden implement that’ll trim and shape the sturdiest of your plants.

These are quite heavy and chunky compared to some pruners I have used and they can cut through reasonably large sized stems/branches whilst being comfortable to hold and use. They feel substantial and seem good quality, and should last a bit longer than some of the cheaper options out there. They come in a box with a foam moulded insert to hold them in place and could make a nice gift. I like these and recommend them.
