Gulf Coast Avionics GCA-6G Premium Pilot Aviation Headset w/MP3 Input Black

After 40 years of flying as a Comercial Pilot, I have tryed them all, and of course these are not $1200 Bose noise canceling headsets, but what they are is 99.5% of a set of Dave Clark 10/30S headsets that go for about $325...... and those still dont have the mp3 jack on them! You can also plug your cellphone into them via a wire and hear incoming calls (mic doesnt work of course) or just buy a $20 bluetooth adapter and plug it right into the mp3 jack and listen to all your stuff via bluetooth! These are quality made, extreamly comfortable, great sounding headsets, the foam they are using to block out noise is the best I have seen as these block engine noise better than my Dave Clarks or my Flightcoms........... if your looking for aExcellent headset for short money BUY this headset, there is nothing else out there that is as good in this price range, supreame value.

Good aviation headset for $100, it keeps the ambient noise out, but over a long period the head ban is a little tight on my ears (I wear glasses)

Was so excited when I got these, they felt comfortable and have an auxiliary port. The first time I used these were at night for a cross country flight in a Cesna 172. Here is where it gets interesting. I hear everything and can reply to ground and tower BUT NOT TO CO-PILOT. This is a huge issue when you are doing a long flight and can't communicate. Tested these on another plane later and still no change.

Great headset for the price. Tough, comfortable. The next headset I purchase will be another of these.I put my old David Clark in the back of my closet!

Awesome deal on a great headset. Headset works as advertised and I like aux jack for my IPod. Best price out there for this headset.

Microphone doesn't always work. I have to scream and keep it between my lips to get it to work. Build quality is ok.

Very nice headset for the money.

Bought one of these directly from them since they are local to me. Flew with the headset the other day for the first time 1hr Hobbs time: my go to are my qt halos, and I've used DCs-light speed-bose-flightcomm. First impression is they look decent, not cheap but not high end. My box came with ear muff socks and the input cable. The fit and feel is good, they are semi tight with glasses but not a clamp down give you a headache like most cheap headsets. The seal and nose reduction is actually really good for a passive headset, probably even more so if you don't use the socks. The mic seems clear and audio sounds good and clear. Overall I think they are a great first headset or as backups/pax headsets. Don't hesitate to buy
