My grandson is very pleased with this set of pads, along with some cycling gloves I also ordered for him.He told me that the knee pads held up well, both protecting his knees and maintaining their shape, after an accidental crash.

A little big on my 4 year old, but they are quite adjustable and they stayed snuggly in place. The straps are velcro and elastic, so these will work for her for years. The armor-over-padding kept her safe and happy through multiple spills using her new skates and her brothers skateboard. The wrist protectors were a little cumbersome when she was trying to grab furniture for a speed boost during laps in the house but she was glad to have them on when she took a spill in the driveway. Definitely saved her from a bit of road rash.

This is a great starter set of knee pads, elbow pads and wrist guards. So far, these pads offer adequate internal padding, external coverage and overall protection from scrapes, bumps and falls. The outside is hard and feels as sturdy as a shield and I do not doubt that I will be totally secured and protected should I possibly fall. I plan to use these daily for training in sports and in fitness. They fit as expected and are comfortable for the MOST part. They are easy to put on, use and take off While using after long periods of time I've noticed that the external armour of the knee pads starts to dig into the flesh, which makes me stop before I originally intended to in order to avoid soreness/bruising. I hope that over time this rigidity will breakdown some to allow for more comfortable use. I feel very stable and secure in these and I like the double layer protection built into these pads. Putting these on I know that I am practicing safety and feel more confident to push myself and challenge myself to continue learning and growing in my sport and fitness. These are also lightweight but they do have a bulky feel and aren't the most stylish option. Overall, you are getting great value for the price and I would definitely consider purchasing other protection kits from this seller as well.
