I thought the new belt system would work well, and it does. After the first day, I really have grown to appreciate it. Both belts are high quality, beautiful belts. It's so nice to tighten or loosen the belt 1/4 inch or more at a time. I've given them as gifts already.

Belts are of good quality leather and are easy to ratchet on. However, in order to get the beltoff, you need to operate a very small latch on the bottom of the buckle, and I have found it somewhat difficult to manipulate this latch properly. I'm also wondering how long it will continue to work.

I have been using web belts for years for my work pants, when I found these on Amazon. I wished I had found these years ago as they were perfect. The ratchet system keeps the belt at a constant fit, unlike my web belts, which would work their way loose throughout the day and I would constantly have to re-tighten them. I have since thrown away all my web belts and love these and plan on buying some more. Great design they even come in a classy presentation box with wraps.

Love these belts! 100% leather! With the ratcheting action, it gives you the most perfect fit possible. It's easy to disengage the locking mechanism too. I liked them so much I sent a set to my brother for his birthday, and he loves the concept and quality as well.

Instead of having a post and hole securing it in proper length, it has a ratchet strip in the back of the belt and a locking mechanism in the buckle. To cut to fit you trim the buckle end NOT the other end. It works well and they look expensive and are easily used. To unbuckle you have a small but easily used lever on the underside of the buckle. I love them and never use the post and hole type again

So far so good, feels well made and comfortable. It’s a bit unusual unbuckling but once you get used to it it’s easy. Have used for open and concealed carry and the belt supported the weight comfortably. The ability to easily customize the overall length as well as the exact fit is fantastic.
