Oury MTN Grip (Blue)

This is the 3rd set of grips I've purchased for one of my bikes. OURY grips are versatile, they look good on different bike types and scooters, they come in multiple colors, they are reasonably priced, and they hold up to abuse. What more could you want? This likely won't be the last set I order.

Nice and cushy just like my old school BMX grips when I was a kid. These things are S T I C K Y!!! They provide excellent grip. They were a total PITA to get on. Instructions spec to use rubbing alcohol. I followed the instructions and let them sit for >24 hrs., went out for a ride and the grips kept slipping off. Went back to my old ways....hair spray, slide on, wait a day....now they're on for the long haul. Great grips with a healthy thickness. Would buy again

This product looks great on my bike. Had a little trouble getting the grips to stay in place. Had to use spray adhesive with plastic "zip ties" to hold them in place. Once the glue dried I removed the "zip ties" and they are staying put. They do tend to get really dirty easily but, they do look good on my bike.

Worked great for my single speed with Cinelli Pepper Bars. I wasn't sure about the sizing but they fit perfect and no flange is smooth. The blue is an awesome.bright blue.I always used an air compressor to put on grips but these are capped. With a wipe of a cloth of 91%iso on the bars I pushed the grips on. Took a little force but they were dry and ready to ride immediately.It worked 20x better then hairspray. Hairspray always took 1-4 days to dry this was instant.

These have been my go-to mountain bike grips for almost 20 years. I stray occasionally and buy some fancy clamp-on grips for twice the money and always walk away feeling poorer and 'meh'. These Oury grips are the best. Cushy, good fit and they last. As they say here in the dirty south (NC)...'Get you some'.

Great grips. I use them on all my mountain bikes. Once installed properly these do not slip or twist. Much preferred to locking grips. Great for those with larger than average hands. The rubber is nice and tacky for great grip, however this means they attract dirt.To install: Thoroughly clean the bars and use nothing but compressed air to install them. Make sure to use a bar cap or throw a penny in the end of the grip to prevent the bar from breaking through.

As much as I wanted to like these, they weren't much better than worn out tube socks.My friend got a pair and one was too big and one too small to fit on his mtb bars. Well he's a gripe so I wanted to get a pair to shut him up.The pair I got, the first one slipped over the bar snugly but the butt end was, we'll let's just say you could have almost tied it in a knot or in a bow it was so saggy.Needless to say, I didn't tell him I got a pair and threwarding them in the garbage 2 minutes after I opened them.Other name brands and even two factory generic models I have had far exceeded these in quality.

They get dirty quickly and are impossible to clean, but they work.I used the hair spray method to install.
