Comfortable and sturdy enough
I really like these pants. I am between a medium and a large, and bought the large. They fit loosely and I am going to try a medium next time -- because I plan to buy more!Multiple pockets with sturdy zippers make these a really convenient option for hiking or just running errands.Highly recommend!

Fabric is very stretchy
The fabric is not quite what I expected; the description indicates the fabric is "breathable." While it is possible for nylon/spandex fabric to be breathable, the characteristic of this fabric puts it firmly in the "use in the fall & early spring hiking" category. I would never wear these to hike in the summer. The fabric is that type of highly stretchable nylon that has a slippery, somewhat heavy feel to it. When the fabric does get wet - such as when one gets caught in the rain - the nylon takes a long time to dry while wearing. (Not as long as a pair of denim jeans, but much longer than nylon that has less stretch and is not slippery). As for the fit, I am 5'1 and 120 pounds. I bought a small and the pants fit well in the waist, hips, and thighs. The 28" inseam is long on me and I have to roll up the cuff. The rolled up cuff still looks fine and frankly gives me a little extra security that creepy crawlies won't be able to climb up my pant leg when hiking. The waistband is very comfortable. It is wide, it hugs my waist, and has a 1/4" rim of elastic tucked into the seam at the top, making it very secure so it does not slip down. My best guess is the waistband would work great for those of us with muffin tops because it is so wide. The drawstring is located BELOW the wide waistband and it utterly superfluous. It is not needed at all, is only decorative and I think all it does is get in the way of making my shirt rest flat against my abdomen. For those who are broad at the beam, these pants will likely work pretty well. Because the nylon fabric is so stretchy and the pants are designed for hiking, there is a decent amount of room in the hip & thigh area without being baggy. As for the style, I have a love/hate thing going on. I love the style of the joggers -- the wide waistband is great, the pants are not baggy, and I love that there are five zippered pockets. Five pockets is so useful for securely tucking bits and bobs. But I do not like that there is only one zippered back pocket. Why so stingy? Just put the other one on there. Plus the back pocket is on the right side so if you're a lefty the back pocket is not as easy to access. I have no complaints with the zippered side seam pockets but those zipper pockets on the thigh? Please. Clearly the design lines were designed by a person who has long, skinny legs and not a short person with 26" inseam legs. On me, the zippers land at exactly the widest part of my thigh. Now, I don't have big thighs, but wearing these pants I sure look like I do! Making matter's worse, the decorative stitching which demarcates the end of the thigh pocket is located a couple inches above my knee. That seam just makes my short legs look even shorter. In short (get the pun?), these joggers are not all that attractive on this short people with short legs. Additionally, I'm not really sold on the fabric. And that drawstring? Useless and in a stupid location. Four stars for function & fit. One star removed for slippery fabric and design lines.

Great for my son, not myself
These pants are amazing, however they did not look appealing on myself at all. My son, 15 years and 5’10” 180 athletic, they look great! And fit him amazing!! He was truly happy that they did not go well for me and that he scored some great workout pants. Not only does he love to workout in these he also wears this “fit” to school and has had many compliments on the look. I’m thinking it’s more flattering in someone with a super fit body or possibly size way down to get a more fitted look. Lots of great pockets and has washed well! No fade.

True to Size
I never realized I needed specific hiking pants, but these are definitely it. They're comfy, a little stretchy. Truly quick dry (which is important if you live in a highly humid place such as myself.)

Comfortable, durable, and plenty of pockets
In a word: COMFORTABLE.These hiking pants are fantastic. The fit is perfect and true to size. They’re lightweight, but still durable. They come with nice and deep, zip up pockets so you can store all of your things securely. Very easy to move around in.My biggest “issue”, if you could even call it that, is that the legs ride up on me a lot. I think it’s because I am pretty tall for a woman (5’10). It really wasn’t that huge of an issue for me since I actually wore these as scrub pants (They’re basically made from the same material and they have the pocket space I need.) But it may be something to keep in mind if you’re purchasing these to actually hike in. High waters+rough terrain with mosquitoes and bugs often don’t mix well.Other than that, I have nothing but good things to say about these! 4.8/5 stars!

Fit well
These are slightly thinner than I thought, but they are a good quality. I would say these pants would do well in the spring/fall seasons! I ordered my normal size, and they fit woth extra room. They are not leggings, these are more like cargo-windpants. I like the fact they don't have a lot of zippered-pockets to keep your belongings secure. For example, there's regular zippered-pockets, then there is also zippered-pockets on the top thigh area, and one zippered-pocket on the right buttock. So, you can definitely go purse free in these. Also, these pants are drawstring for easier access when you need it! They are a better quality, i think they are simply made for the spring/fall as stated before.
