The Rideshare Guide: Everything You Need to Know about Driving for Uber, Lyft, and Other Ridesharing Companies

I am a 3 year veteran driver for Uber and Lyft, and I only wish this book was out when I started driving. It gives a real understanding of what being a driver will be like, the up’s and downs, the do’s and don’ts. Its a great read, and since drivers are not given training to the Rideshare gig they refer to forums, social sites, groups, and peers. All of which are great! Even knowing the content myself from driving for years and reading Rideshareguy website since the begining, this book was very interesting to read. The order in which things are discussed in the book, the subject matter, and the books flow is SPOT ON! Good read for any driver in the Rideshare Gig. For new drivers it really should be required reading before jumping in. Tons of great information you need, and given to you before you start will help any new driver avoid many issues we face before they happen. Truly a MUST READ for the Rideshare business!

Just started driving Lyft this past week, and still trying to find the best times and places that work for me, but with a 2014 Accord hybrid getting 46 mpg it seems a no brainer and is a lot of fun.This book is well organized and I can see the value in the recommended apps, especially Stride Tax. My 2nd night driving, I actually picked up an employee of Stride at the airport and took him to his hotel downtown! Harry, Noah says hi...lol. Stride works great for logging all my miles and I drive looking for riders most anywhere I go now, if I have time to go out of my way. If I get someone on the way to the grocery store, I'll go get them and continue on my errands later (when I have the time... that way my miles are deductible...I am LOOKING for work!)Thanks Harry!

I’m thinking about driving for Uber and this book will help get me started. I’ll also read his blog and watch his YouTube videos.

Harry is the Godfather of the Ridesharing world--known him for a few years. And now Dara K is blowing him up on Twitter...what an ascent for this blogger!The book is filled with typical things you would want to know if you're just starting in rideshare. And then it goes on to advanced topics in driving and mobility.I appreciate Harry's generosity in mentioning other bloggers by name, and complimenting their work. He goes into great detail on subjects like Uber Quest, and even concludes with a thoughtful, reasoned analysis of how human and AV cars can coexist. Cant wait to see you on the bestsellers list.

Excellent guide produced by Harry Campbell, which is what we've come to expect from him at this point. He's able to concisely and effectively articulate the ins and outs of the rideshare business in this wonderful guide. Harry will show you how to maximize profits, deal with taxes in an effective way, and optimize your rating regardless of whatever circumstances you may encounter. If you're in the rideshare world, this guide will make your life significantly easier and more organized. Do yourself a favor and buy!

Without doubt the best $10 you will be spending in the rideshare industry. As a rideshare veteran myself (Rideshare Professor), I can fully 100% endorse this book. Harry The Rideshare Guy was my mentor when I started. Thorough, detailed and every angle you need to know and succeed with Uber and Lyft. This is a must have. I just finished it and will give it a 5 STAR review tomorrow. Nothing but gratitude to this man for sharing so openly with driver. When you finished it, you will be left with the same feeling :)

Definitely not "everything" you need to know, but what you need to know to get started. There is much more to ride-sharing than this book talks about but it is a good start.

A well organized, quick read that provides excellent information on what it takes to make money driving for Uber and/or Lyft. Think of it as a "quick start" manual for rideshare drivers that gets them up to speed quickly. This includes covering a variety of services and products that are useful to drivers. Anyone considering or new to rideshare driving will find this book well worth reading and even experienced drivers will will benefit from the book's money earning tips and techniques.
