A Breath of Fresh Air

This is a beautiful undiscovered gem. I bought this because of the cover (yes I know they say don't judge etc) but the cover was so evocative of Cornwall and the artist Laura Knight - that I had to buy it. At times I wasn't sure if it was fiction or fact, a little of both I think. But I got totally lost in this clever book. It is wonderfully put together with different chapters and details the paintings as well before each chapter begins. Sadly there were no pictures in the book, but with a little help from the internet, I printed and stuck the pictures next to the chapters in the book. I love art and this had totally slipped my radar. Love Cornwall, love art, love Summer In February film, then this has got to be in your collection. Buy it whilst you can, as the new film will make this a little gem to possess.Bookworm
