Creekstone briskets we’re my go to on the competition bbq trail. The last four have been not very good. Very thin flat, with chunks taken out from the processing. When you pay this much for a brisket you expect perfection, these have not been perfect. Done with ordering from creekstone, 44 farms is very good.

I ordered the Creekstone 16-18lb brisket on a Sunday afternoon as a celebration of sorts for my Steelers beating the browns;). It shipped out of Wichita Monday am and was on my doorstep in Ct Thursday afternoon.. chilled n ready;). A salt and pepper rub and a 15-1/2hr smoke on Sunday created a Thing of Absolute Beauty. Can't say enough about the quality of the Creekstone brisket.. 5 stars kinda seems unfair;)

At $140 per packer, these are for special occasions only. Aaron Franklin uses this very brisket at his Austin, Texas Restaurant. The beef flavor of this large prime CAB brisket is excellent. The trim from them is okay so far, but not great as on one they included a muscle attached to the point that was NOT brisket point as seen in my last photo.I sear and then smoke these. Do it right and the flat is so moist your eaters will need napkins! ;) RAVE reviews from the eaters! HIGHLY recommended for ADVANCED Pitmasters doing the Q for very special occasions. (I recommend that you do your practice on the cheap stuff and get really consistent and great results before you go with this premium packer)
