It was a hit!
My son and I both love this show,So when I found this I knew he had to get it for Christmas. Arrived early and we barely opened it today and finished it. The little light is so cute. The only tedious thing is you have to make sure the roof is aligned correctly if not it wont fit. We loved it. I hope the make more eventually of courage. My son was saying we need the truck next time. Anyone that likes courage seriously buy it.

Spooky Vibes, Brick by Brick
This set is a total win for fans of classic cartoons and creative kids alike. The design is instantly recognizable, with enough detail to bring the Courage-style dog house to life, and the added lighting gives it a cool glow that stands out on display. At 613 pieces, it offers a fun challenge without being overwhelming, and the final build feels solid. It’s compatible with other major brick brands, so it’s easy to expand or remix the setup. The pieces fit well, the instructions are clear, and everything came packed neatly with no missing parts. Honestly, I have zero complaints. Bottom line: whether you’re buying it for a kid or tapping into nostalgia for yourself, this set is spooky, sturdy, and straight-up fun to build.

Perfect for big kids and adults too.
We had a delightful experience building this Dog House set! The quality of the pieces is great, and it was a fun challenge for my 7-year-old Lego expert, who needed a bit of help from us with this model, specially with the lighting part.I personally loved the experience, it was joyful and calming, like a meditative activity.Lovely set and colorfulHighly recommended for kids and families who love building sets or making creative projects!

Fairly good build, would have been better with minifigs and slightly better parts
So, first a bit of a confession- I never really watched Courage The Cowardly Dog... what I did see of it was usually because I had just left the TV on after watching something before it or had just turned it on early to watch something after it. I mainly grabbed this set because I could tell that it used a LOT of yellow 'masonry' bricks that I figured would be good for other projects.Overall the build was pretty good- I was initially pretty impressed with the quality of the parts since I've had really bad experiences with large tiles and plates, but the 6x6 tiles that were used actually went onto the large plates below without much trouble. However I did notice on some other parts- specifically the roof pieces (that you can see in the last picture)- that there were issues with bowing that comes from tolerance issues which is common with non-LEGO parts. For the most part though, the parts weren't bad. The fact that a brick separator was included was nice- it's depressing how many non-LEGO sets don't bother including one where it will almost certainly be useful. I also appreciated that there were printed parts and no stickers- I really don't like stickers. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. They did suffer from a common problem that I've seen (honestly both with LEGO and non-LEGO sets) where they were printed darker than they should have, making some of the colors (the yellow parts in particular look tan) difficult to discern. The inclusion of the light brick was nice- it makes displaying the set a bit nicer, though the twist-to-turn-on ones can be a bit touchy. Thankfully it was used in this set in such a way that it wasn't a problem. Finally, I don't really get why they made the characters brick built and not (at least for the humans) Minifigs. The house itself is pretty solidly Minifig-scale, and the characters being brick-built means that they can't sit in the chairs the are inside the house. Courage being brick-built kind of made sense- but I think that minifigs would have been better.Overall though, it was a pretty good set- if you're a fan of the show, it's probably not a bad one to pick up.

awesome
First of all, I’m a 90s kid.. this was a no brainer! Everyone is included, and the house is set up just like the show. There’s a ton of pieces, so you’ll have a good amount of build time but it’s enjoyable. Everything goes together easily and looks really cute. I put my kids on courage when they were little so they grew up watching it too, when it came we all opened it and everyone was excited to get started! Great set. Definitely recommend

Lots of fun!
I loved this TV show growing up so I was really excited to find this "lego" set.It makes a pretty nice sized house. It comes with an instruction booklet to help you build everything. The pieces are numbered a prepackaged, however while building it the packages didnt really seem to make sense. I found my self having to hoping packages that didn't go along with the numbers just to keep building. It did include all of its pieces. The instructions are a bit confusing. But I am also not a seasoned builder, so I have nothing to relate it to. With a little bit of patience its not bad at all.I loved the amount of detail that was in this build. It left me feeling very nostalgic! The little light even came with batteries so you can light it up at the end.The picture listed on amazon, is missing Courage and I was very worried that since this was not a name brand that the dog would be missing. Dont fear! He is there! Its just a bit confusing that hes not printed on the front of the box with the other characters. My only complaint is that I ended up with more pieces that what is listed in the build sheets. That was very confusing at the end. It made me feel like I built it wrong. The pieces left over were extra small pieces and you are able to double check in the instructions.
