Nice, but a bit small for me
There is knurling on the back of the blade that can be used to flip it open, as well as a stud on the side of the blade as well to flick it open. The knife came super sharp and ready to use out of the box, as Kizer blades usually do from my experience (I have several of their knives).I find one-handed opening and closing this one-handed a bit treacherous. The knife is thin and slick which makes it feel like I might not have it firmly and opt to use two hands.

An Excellent Knfie
This has been my daily driver for a little over a month now, and it has done everything I have asked of it. It hasn't exactly been treated it all that kindly either. The edge has held up incredibly well and the overall craftsmanship of this knife is excellent. The action is really smooth and the finish on the handle is beautiful. This is a great offering by Kizer and well worth the money.

Nice knife
I like the color of this knife with the black blade. It opens easily and is pretty sharp. I keep this in my car. Came packaged nicely and no damage.

Smooth, Sleek and Slim
I don’t know that much about knives even though I have several and collect them. What I do know is that this Kizer Shot Pocket Knife is thoughtfully designed and beautifully manufactured. Fit and finish is excellent and It was sharp, right out of the box. This knife is slim and trim, very much like my favorite EDC, and is actually a bit smaller. I often don’t like pocket clips. This one is perfectly designed and placed for my style of carry. Being right handed, I don’t mind that it is not ambidextrous. I would feel differently if I was a lefty.I would consider changing to this Kiser Shot for EDC, but I haven’t been able to master one handed use. I have seen video reviews of others whom can open and close it like a card shark shuffling a deck. Maybe my hand is too big for this little guy. My EDC has a flipper nub and is spring assisted making it much easier to deploy. The Kiser blade does lock very securely in place and I can close it one handed without a problem.I will continue to practice deployment. If I can master that, this may be the perfect pocket knife.

Awesome knife!
This is a beautiful knife. The handles alone shine and are very pretty. Folded the star engraved on the blade looks sleekly placed right where ypir finger rests when used in the grip. I could see these being a knife used in an urban setting by those who dont see a lot of hard labor or work a desk job. The slick thin nature of the blade gives an impression of a gentleman. The thin grips are small narrow and almost easily fitting a pen’s pocket. The action of opening and closing the blade feel so smooth and effortless to open. The blade cuts printer paper with no effort. And the point is fine and sharp. The liner lock is solid, keeps the blade when working with it.My only complaint is the clip. It does not stay secure on belts or pockets and feels rather easy to slip out. I do wish it was stiffer to cling onto your clothes a little more but still pulled oht easily with force. I do not think these are well suited for harder labor due to the grips having almost no texture for grip.Otherwise, this is a great EDC knife. Light and sharp, like a gentleman. I also appreciate the microfiber towel and stickers. I was very surprised the see how high quality and thick the stickers are.
