Excellent textbook! I am glad my professor requested for the semester. With each case study this book provides the depth and complexity needed to understand the features and development of the different disorders presented in the DSM-5.The authors present the case study along with additional sections that complement the case. These sections are: social history of the patient, conceptualization and treatment, and a discussion section that includes the etiology of the disorder, biological and psychological factors and treatment. Finally, the authors add discussion question to round up the student's knowledge and understanding of the disorder and other important considerations related.Don't rent this book... buy it if you can!

Well, there is very little difference (if any), between this edition and the previous edition (edition 9).And the price of this book is ENORMOUS.What a cheeky thing to do to people.

I used this book in college and loved it. Very informative and easy to digest the material and use what you learn even outside the classroom
