Cool gadget that does the job.
I hate manual can openers because they don't grab the can well and most do not last long. I purchased this item to ease the hassle of can opening for me and my teenager kids who often try to fix themselves tuna sandwiches while we are not at home. This is an upscale unit. In my few tries on canned tuna, it did a good job completely hand free... The item is pretty heavy so I decided to keep it in my kitchen cabinet drawer rather than hanging on the wall vertically but it is good to know that you have that option. The magnetic hanger can stick to walls through a 3m sticker and secure this in place vertically. One minor concern about. The hanging system is that it blocks the charging port so you cannot charge the item while attached to the hanging piece. This could have been designed better. Also the unit is black but the charging cable they sent is white. Not a big deal but matching color would look better. It came with 80% charge and it took around 10 min to charge the remainder. This depends on the charger though. The item came with a charging cable but no charger. The operation is smooth and efficient. It really does not generate sharp edges which is a plus. Auto shutdown is also well thought and all you need is basically put it on a can and press a single button. The charge indicator works simultaneously by pressing the operation button and gives an idea about how much juice is left. Finally, there is a tiny metal hook at the end which can be protruded or pulled back using small mechanic system. This thing allows for removing the lid in case the negative pressure seals the lid onto the can. Not happened to me yet but things can happen so it is a good additional thing. Overall this is not cheap but if it lasts which I hope it will, this will be money spent wisely.

Works at a good speed and easy to store
I like that it charges with a newer USB-C port. I did not bother with the included cable, instead I just charged it with my Samsung Galaxy charger and cable which is 5V 2A.I liked it shows the numerical percentage charged.I like that it is easy to get it in the correct position to start working by turning it and the can on the side and you can view when the can rim is between the knurled wheel and the cutting wheel. When it is, it snaps in place with its magnet (that is used later to lift the lid). Since it is snapped in place, it is easy to then put the can back down on the counter without it changing from the correct starting position.I like that it only took about 17 seconds to open a can. That is about the speed I was taking opening it manually and much easier.I like that it automatically stops when it is finished. It warned me and the can I used to test this had a sticky substance holding the lid in place so the magnet would not pick it up, but no big deal to grab it manually afterwards.I like that it takes no space in the drawer to store if you are lucky enough to have a surface near where you can stick the "magnet holder". I stuck it to the side if our refrigerator and it easily snaps in place for storage.

Excellent auto can opener!
The media could not be loaded. I already had a modern can opener similar to this one that did the job well, but I felt it could be better. This opener addresses all the issues:• Faster—20 seconds versus 26• Auto-stop—press the button and continue with other prep in the kitchen, it stops when completed• No metal threads—my other one left thin "hairs" hanging on from the cutting process• Stronger magnet• Lid-lift tool—no need to risk your fingers if the magnet's not enoughAlso, the unit comes with a a really good mounting bracket so you can keep it within arm's reach if you want. I don't think I'll use it, because I have a drawer right there and there's just no need to stick something to my backsplash, but it is a nice design that uses the magnet to hold it securely. One small item is that it, like my old opener, doesn't have true USB-C charging. You'll have to use a USC-A to USC-C cable (one is provided), USB-C to USB-C won't work. In other words, you can't charge it from a USB-C outlet, because the device lacks the simple circuitry to signal that it needs power turned on. This is a common omission among modern devices, so I always have the appropriate cable plugged in. So, it's not a drawback for me, but I hope someday that all products get it right.I'm very happy with this opener from the first use. It fixes all the small annoyances I had with my old one, and improved upon the features I liked. It's even more compact (not as long).

A CAN Do Type Of Device
This automatic can opener from CansLab is really neat. For starters, it is extremely small, operates without wires, is rechargeable via USB C, and comes with a nice little magnetic wall station. You simply place this can opener on the can you wish to open, push the power button, and the opener does all the work - rotating around and cutting the can lid off, leaving no sharp edges in the process. This happens very quickly and is very quiet while running. The opener has a small LED display screen that provides the current battery level so you can see when it is time to recharge.I am very happy with this item and recommend it to households where a manual can opener or one of those big countertop openers is not feasible.5 stars.

My Second Canslab!
I had a Canslab opener and I absolutely loved it. Oddly enough - it went to camp and never came back home. When I saw they updated to a turbo option - I knew this one had to come to the house. It has he same quality and performance I'm used to in my old Canslab. It's not heavy. It does exactly like it should every time. Even when I dropped a can and dented it, Canslab Turbo still opened the can with zero issues. It charges quickly and I love the new wall hanger. It fully charged quickly. It handles everything from small cans of chilies to number 10 cans of green beans without a single blip. I'm a Canslab fan for life and have already shared the Canslab love with siblings, and friends. Would be a great housewarming gift!
