This is my review of the NISSAFORS Bankers Desk Lamp, Green Glass Shade, Vintage Desk Lamp with Pull Chain Switch, Retro Table Lamps for Home Office LED Bulb Included (Brass+Green, Middle). It comes completely assembled and includes an instruction/information sheet. Pull it out of the box, unwrap it, screw in the included 6-watt Edison-style LED bulb, plug it in, and you're all set. The tubular LED bulb's output is equivalent to a 60-watt tubular incandescent bulb.My father owns an antique bronze banker's lamp I used growing up. In comparing them, the lamp's weight is about the same, and while this lamp's glass shade is a bit thinner, it is thick enough to be quite sturdy, nice looking, and chip-resistant. The main difference is that this lamp has a slightly pre-patinaed brass-colored, weighted steel base instead of solid bronze or brass, which develops a patina with age. The finish of this product is quite convincing, and I like that it is cleaned quickly by wiping it with a damp cloth or a mild spray cleaner; I suggest using Windex for the glass shade. The lamp is very stable and has a felt-coated bottom to protect the desk or table it is on. I have chosen to use it as a nightstand lamp, and I appreciate its easily accessible and actuated pull-chain switch.Its price is reasonable, and I highly recommend it.

I wanted to add soft lighting to my living room so that we didn't have to use the overhead lighting too much in the evening. This lamp is PERFECT for me. I love the mid century modern decor, I love the green color since it's my favorite color and it adds a cool touch to the lamp. Another color would just not have the same effect.I also wanted it to be compact. As you see, I'm using it on an end table. So I only had enough space for a little trinket box and my laptop and this fits perfectly at the edge. There was a little scuffle mark at the bottom right corner on the shade and you only see it when the lamp is on so while not ideal it's ok since I am ecstatic with this buy. At first I wasn't sure I liked the curvature of the base but now I really like it.All in all, it's a 10/10 for me.

We inherited a lovely teak desk from my father-in-law and have been unable tofind the perfect lamp for it until now. This Bankers Lamp looks great, is solidlybuilt and the 350 degree rotation of the shade is extremely useful. Included is a 6watt LED bulb that is easy to install and should last over 15,000 hours. A bonusfeature is the pull chain which is so much nicer than fumbling for a switch. Thegreen glass shade is substantial, the brass finish is high quality and the felt pad onthe bottom of the base is yet another example of the manufacturer’s attention todetail. This beautiful lamp is a welcome addition to our home that we will enjoyfor years to come.

Honestly, this lamp is just that - a lamp. And it achieves it awesomely. It has that retro bankers (although to me, it reminds me more of old libraries or academic rooms) vibe to it, with a nice golden base and even a pull-string switch to turn it on and off. That's it. No bluetooth, no RGB, no faux bulb that's actually a small COB LED. It's just...a lamp hahahahaIn terms of brightness, it lights up the immediate area well! I have it off in a corner near my desk and it provides ample lighting to the stand it's own and ambient lighting to the rest of the room. It isn't blinding or anything since it potentially can be placed at eye level.I love old-school library/academic/maps/old room vibes. And this just adds to it.

This Bankers Desk Lamp with its green glass shade is gorgeous and it instantly brought back memories of the one I used to own. I was a bit nervous at first, hoping it would live up to that nostalgic charm—and it did not disappoint. The glass is stunning, and I was pleasantly surprised that they included an LED bulb. No last-minute runs to the store to find a bulb that fit well.What really sealed the deal was the old-school pull chain switch. There’s something satisfying about that classic “click” that takes you back in time. Normally, I prefer touch lamps, but with this older design, the chain adds that extra touch. It fits perfectly on my desk, and when I settle in to read or work, it gives me just the right amount of light, spreading evenly across my workspace. Not only is it functional, but it adds a touch of vintage elegance to my home office. Safe to say, this lamp is a keeper!

I have been casually looking for a piano lamp, and while this isn't meant for that, I liked the look of it. It looks fantastic sitting on my 100-year-old walnut piano and helps me see the music in the darker area of the room where the piano sits. I am very happy with the quality of the lamp. It is heavy and sturdy and appears well made. The Edison bulb, which is included with the lamp, is a nice finishing touch, and the lamp doesn't take much space for the amount of light it gives. The light makes the shade glow, but does not shine (or reflect) green. I would highly recommend this lamp!

This vintage NISSAFORS Bankers Desk Lamp is beautiful and practical. I have it on the piano and it provides the perfect amount of light for the music books. The adjustable Amber Glass Shade has a lovely golden glow when the lamp is on. And the post and pedestal are heavy and sturdy and attractive in an antiqued-brass tone (with lovely embossing). The pull chain glides smoothly and is somehow so much more satisfying that using a switch or a remote control. This was one of the prettiest lamps in my home and I highly recommend it.

Beautifully designed lamp with high quality build. The metal base looks and feels like brass without being overly heavy. The glass shade directs the light downwards however it translucency allows light to escape the top so it can light up an area well. The amber led bulb is my favorite feature. It gives the lamp and old fashion style with modern power efficiency. Love it lamp, highly recommend.
