I’ve only used it for a couple of days so far, but this 5.0Ah battery has worked well in my Makita 18V cordless tools. It arrived boxed and wrapped in bubble wrap. It looks well made and feels robust having been made from strong and sturdy plastics. It’s a great fit in all of the Makita 18V cordless products I own and the sprung-loaded catch makes a solid connection to each tool. The 3-stage LED power indicator appears accurate and it illuminates with a green glow at the press of a button, providing info on the remaining power level.The battery charges and performs similarly to an 5Ah OEM Makita power pack. It's reliable and hasn’t gotten overly warm, nor has it experienced any premature loss of power. When tested in a MTC2403 dual charger it charged in almost the same length of time as an original 5Ah battery. And when used in an 18V chainsaw the battery lasted for a decent length of time and performed a similar number of cuts in seasoned hard wood.The battery pack feels good and the weight is similar to the OEM 5Ah battery. At £35.99 before any discount (at the time of writing this) it’s fair value for money.

Solid constructed ‘off brand’ Makita battery which fits my Makita charger and tools without any issue, solid connection and tool performance appears to be as the original. The appearance is also as the original, unlike some ‘off brand’ ones which can be quite different.It comes three quarters charged (according to the four stage battery indicator), once used it charged without any issue. Life span unknown at this stage but so far, so good.Long term performance is unknown at this stage; I generally am a bit cautious about non-genuine batteries due to possible issues with tool performance, (never sure if they have the same built in protection as genuine batteries, though it claims to protect against over charge and deep discharge) deterioration in the battery cells which reduce lifespan etc.At this stage can’t fault it so would certainly make a solid back-up battery option.

This product is an easy 5 out of 5 stars, it is just as good as the original battery at half the price.This battery is excellent, performance-wise it seems to be just as good as the original Makita 5.0Ah battery, Recharge time and power seems to be identical, This battery is almost indistinguishable to the original Makita battery, the styling, locking mechanism and display is almost the same as the original and you would need to look hard to notice the difference.This is well built, has a tight fit and can be used just the same as the regular Makita 18V battery. I used this on my hammer drill today for several holes and the battery was still at full after use.The only minor consideration with this battery is that it does not have any feature improvements (i.e. display, light, locking mechanism, etc) over the original Makita battery, which some other third part batteries do.Pros:- Almost indistinguishable from the original- Performance matches the Makita equivalent.- Half the price of Makita battery.- Well built.Con:- Other third-party batteries have improved features over the original.

The battery is a generic 18v replacement battery for a makita. I needed a makita battery for a generic paint sprayer that didn't come with a battery and this does the job perfectly, it's supposed to be a 5.0Ah battery, so should have plenty of lasting power. As to it's longevity, time will tell, other than that it does the job, so no complaints from me.

This is a single 18V battery replacement for an 18V Makita battery. It arrives in a cardboard box.The battery itself looks identical to my other makita batteries and charges up using the same charging method. When attached to our power tools it seems to work very well. How long it will last and value for money will take longer to assess but first impressions are of a good quality replacement battery.

Fitted fine, works better than the original so far but only the long haul will tell how it is over the expected lifetime of such a product.I'm happy to say it has been great.Overall, this battery working perfectly at the moment.Holding charge for a long period and it charges very quickly.Delivery and packaging is great tooI would buy it again if I needed a spare battery.

Pues eso, poco que añadir. No tengo forma de comprobar que tenga realmente los 5Mah, pero puedo decir que quizás si me dura más del doble que otra que tenía de 2. La estamos usando para una mini motosierra a batería, y aunque le mete más peso, nos compensa por la duración que le da.Ha encajado perfectamente, y se carga bien. Eso sí, ten en cuenta que aquí viene solo la batería, el cargador es aparte. Pero vamos, que está muy en precio, a 35 eur que ha llegado a costar, cuando solo la batería original ya puede costar más del doble. Sería impensable que viniese con el cargador también a ese precio.

Ecco la mia esperienza.Partiamo dalla confezione: è arrivata ben imballata, con una protezione adeguata per evitare danni durante il trasporto. Non ci sono accessori extra, ma non servono: la batteria è pronta all’uso appena tirata fuori dalla scatola.Dal punto di vista estetico e costruttivo, la batteria è solida, con una plastica robusta e ben rifinita. Il design è praticamente identico a quello delle batterie Makita originali, e si aggancia perfettamente agli utensili compatibili senza nessun gioco o problema. L’indicatore LED è un tocco in più che apprezzo molto: permette di controllare in un attimo il livello di carica residua, cosa che le originali, almeno nei modelli più vecchi, non offrono.Ho testato questa batteria su un trapano avvitatore e su una smerigliatrice Makita, entrambi della serie LXT. In termini di prestazioni, non ho notato differenze significative rispetto a una batteria originale: la potenza è stabile e la durata è ottima, perfetta per sessioni di lavoro prolungate.
