We purchased 3 different stockings, all within a dollar price difference. This one tied in first. It's a normal stocking size, exterior is soft to the touch, and has a liner on the inside which is not very soft to the touch and looks like it might even be waterproof. The stitching appears very good and there is minimal stretch with loading weight inside (aka presents)

The design for this stocking is cute and classic, a knit stocking in traditional Christmas colors personalized with an embroidered letter. Unfortunately the reality did not live up to the listing. The overall idea is there, but it's lacking in too many ways. The knit stitches look great, but the yarn is cheap and you can really feel it. The inside is lined, but it's a strange choice of material, a plastic that loudly crinkles with every move. The embroidery is ok, but has too many flaws to consider it high quality. If it weren't for the other issues it could be overlooked.I would have just dealt with those things and looked for a better stocking next year, but I couldn't overlook the hole at the top right in the middle. It's a hole in the top of the lining so I thought maybe I could hide with the top of the knit part, but that part was also done poorly and pulled in and away in an odd way, I'm not even sure how to describe it. Because of that there was no way to cover the hole.For the low price I could have overlooked the cheap yarn, crinkly plastic lining, and the small embroidery flaws, but the hole and the flaws in the knit part just made it look bad. Some quality control and a slight upgrade to the materials would make all the difference here.

Our old fireplace was reconstructed with some dry walls and we put in the electric fireplace. This meant that despite the burning Christmas spirit, I couldn't have a heavily decorated Christmas fireplace. I needed some lightweight decorations that could be hung on taped hangers and these socks worked! The fabric is quite soft, I love the simple look.

Very pleased with this stocking. It's quality made and the embroidery of the letter is great. Will be great hanging up for Christmas. Highly recommend.
