Dekoni AudioMemory Foam Replacement Ear Pads Compatible with Focal Clear, Elear, and Utopia Headphones (Elite Sheepskin)

I replace all my ear pads with Dekoni for their comfort and sound.

I love the sound, build and comfort of the Focal Elegia but it did lack in the bass regions. My goal was to get the Schitt Lokius equalizer but with a bad economy I didn't want to spend $300. These sheepskin leather pads are not cheap but they are less than a third of the price so after reading many opinions on how the effect the Elegia I picked up a pair. They're definitely the easiest earpads to change out. Takes about 15 seconds per ear pad if you take your time. They did give the headphones a richer overall sound signature and it did add some more depth to the base. I am by no means a bass head and I am not a child that listens to EDM and genres like that. I just like my music to sound real. These pads definitely helped. I think in the future I'll still get the Lokius but for right now this has been a good decision.

Bass issues with the Focal Elegia are immediately squelched by installing these.

I'm very satisfied with the new headphone pads. The Dekoni sheepskin earpads are much more comfortable than the stock Focal Elegia pads. Removal of the old pads and installation of the sheepskins was super easy and took les than 1 minute.

I like these a lot because the older original ear pads that came with my Clear had begun to wear down a bit, with the underlying adhesive beginning to be exposed and come a bit loose. It was nothing extremely serious, and they still felt well for the majority of situations, but I still was searching for an upgrade to comfort, as I for a time found myself having to manually reposition the headphones at times when they seemingly got off balance on my head.Nothing super serious, but I am glad for these and how the genuine memory foam muffs fit perfectly into the slots on the headphones themselves and are just as breathable as the original.

I'm not going to dock any stars off these, everyone's hearing is different and there wasn't anything actually wrong with them.They are VERY well made, the packaging was nice.They did have a better bass response, they mids def did get brought out a bit like I've read but what killed them for me was the treble spike in them. These are already bright sounding headphones compared to my Nighthawks. That extra little umph to the treble I heard hurt my ears a little bit. The original pads soften that blow. I assume it's with how the sound resonates inside the cups before reaching your ears and doesn't get soaked up by the soft pads that come with it. For me, it wasn't what I was hoping for. For you? You may like them, they have a good rep and i could see why. Might also be they don't work well with my equipment.Comfort: I didn't get to break these in, they seem VERY soft when they're in your hands but when you're actually wearing them it's a different story. They don't feel soft at all and had to keep taking them off every few minutes to give some relief, put a lot of pressure on the jaw which I read from someone else too, but again, wearing them enough to break them in I can see that changing.

Focal replacement pads are super expensive for oem pads. I bought the dekoni elite sheepskin pads for my elegias that had super degraded stock pads. These dekoni pads bright the headphone back to life! The board the bass just a bit and still kept most of the other sonic characteristics. My only complains would be it's hard to get a good seal while wearing glasses...

These earpads are not bad at all ! I was a bit worried at first to buy any Focal Elear third-party earpads since they can change the sound.And they do, but the difference is just a tad over noticeable, the only thing I could note is: The bass are a bit tighter, sound is overall a bit more warm and the soundstage is a bit wider without sacrificing positioning.If you like the sound signature of the Focal Elear, but want just a tinny tad more bass, try these.If you do not like the sound signature of the Focal Elear, don't buy these thinking it will "fix" them: they won't.Comfort wise, these are great but just a tad less comfortable than the Focal Elear stock pads.At first they certainly feel a bit stiffer, but they loosen up after long periods of wearing them.Just a disclaimer: when removing the earpads for cleaning, make sure to pull the pads by putting your fingernails under the earpads and not by simply pulling on the cushion themselves.

Ho le focal elegia abbinate ad un amplificatore molto neutro e analitico....amo il suono analitico ma per lunghe sessioni può affaticare l ascolto.Le soluzioni erano due : un amplificatore valvolare , oppure provare questi pad.Posso affermare che è stato un ottimo acquisto, la risoluzione è rimasta invariata ma, creano un maggiore isolamento verso l esterno....il risultato è un basso più profondo senza mai coprire le altre frequenze.Posso solo consigliare l acquisto ,nonostante il prezzo ne vale davvero la pena..

Very well made confortable almost like the originals from focal fenestrated elite sheepskin, i believe smoothened some of the spikes but the focal sound signature remains ,my headphones are new so still time to really notice more changes, if you spent in a high end headphones above$ 600 they worth the $ 130 otherwise enjoy what you have .

Ich habe mit diesen Dekoni Polstern die alten Originale meines Focal Elear ersetzt. Es ist natürlich nicht ganz objektiv alte und neue Polster zu vergleichen. Die neuen Polster sind in jedem Fall ein Gewinn an Klangqualität. Ich meiner aus der Erinnerung heraus, sie müssen sich nicht vor den neu Originalpolstern verstecken.

These pads are much more comfortable than the stock velour pads on the Elegia. Sound quality gets a slight boost, with tight bass and a touch of warmth (which I like). Fast delivery.

Coussinets de qualité correcte (la finition n'est pas aussi bonne que les originaux) et le son légèrement modifié ( en +/- bien selon les morceaux écoutés). Cependant le cuir est plus agréable sur les oreilles.Le principal est que ces coussinets sont compatibles avec l'ELEGIA d'une part, d'une autre : le prix par rapport aux originaux !
