This is extremely well made. I love the print and how it’s so easy to handle. I can take the butter out of the fridge and leave it out for lot of the day without worry. I just put the entire thing back in the fridge when not in use and it keeps the butter fresh for a long time too. It’s very charming. It can be cleaned easily. It’s a bit heavy but not too heavy for one handed carrying. This is just the right size for a stick of butter. Just like in the old days. This can make a wonderful gift too especially for a chef or a baker.

While it is very cute, it is also huge! I was very surprised when I opened the box up. I got this as a stocking stuffer for my daughter. I'm not sure she will be able to use it as she lives in an apartment with very limited counter space and this butter dish will take up some valuable counter space that she does not have to spare. It does come packed well wrapped inside styrofoam which is also inside another cardboard box.

This mushroom butter dish is so attractive that you'll want to keep it out all the time. I love the generous size of this dish which has plenty of headroom and length to hold a standard butter cube. I especially love the color and the pattern which features a collection of colorful mushrooms on all four sides of the lid and a cheery knob that is easy to hold. It's cute and whimsical, while also being sturdy and very functional. A great find!
