Great hydration!
I live in the high desert, dry, thin air, lots of sun. This really hydrates my skin and is not sticky or oily. No scent so it doesn't interfere with my fragrance. Gave one to a friend and she likes it too. Very nice product.

Good lotion
This lotion works really well. Reminds me a lot of Aveeno moisturizing lotion. But I like the bottle and design of this one better.

Spacology Daily Moisture Lotion
Because dimethicone is the active ingredient in this lotion I believe this is a “barrier” lotion, not an emollient. This is the information I found about dimethicone:“That artificial coating on the outside of skin causes several issues:• It traps everything under it-including bacteria, sebum, and impurities-which could lead to increased breakouts and blackheads• The coating action actually prevents the skin from performing its normal activities-like sweating, temperature regulating, sloughing off dead skin cells, etc.• Prolonged exposure to dimethicone can actually increase skin irritation, due to the coating property and because dimethicone is listed as a possible skin and eye irritant• Those with sensitive or reactive skin are at risk of an allergic reaction to dimethicone• On top of all this, dimethicone is a non-biodegradable chemical-bad for the environment”In spite of that I think the lotion could be useful for people, like nurses, who are constantly washing their hands. It goes on smoothly and has no fragrance. It can stain fabrics and irritate eyes. I couldn’t get the pump to work on the product I received so I hope that is an anomaly, not the norm.

Works pretty well - nice simple bottle and good pump. Contains dimethicone.
I use this as a hand-lotion and my review is based on it used as such. I do not have dry skin (other than my hands), so I don't use daily moisturizing products on anything but my hands. I tend to look for lotions that do not have a smell and are not greasy - this definitely fits the bill.I am not a health-nut, however, I do try to pay attention to what I put in/on my body. This product contains dimethicone which I understand forms a coating over your skin and can actually make your skin more dry with prolonged use. I am no dermatologist, but that doesn't really sit well with me.I will use up what I have left of this product and move on to something that doesn't contain dimethicone. I could see me keeping this around as a one-in-a-while alternative when my hands are really dry and I don't want greasy hands, but I don't like the idea of using this daily.

Holds up very well against my go-to lotion for dry, itchy skin
I suffer from winter dry skin in patches on both shins and one wrist, and this odd but predictable pattern let me test this lotion for a solid two weeks in comparison to my go-to: Vaseline Intensive Care Body Lotion, Advanced Repair Unscented . I've never found another lotion that matched the long-term benefits of Vaseline, but Spa Cology holds up impressively. Not better than, but effective. It's thinner, but seems to be doing the trick. Being scent-sensitive, I pay attention to claims that a product is "fragrance free;" Spa Cology lives up to that promise only in the sense that there's no perfumes. The product itself has an odor that is a little bit stronger than the Vaseline. It doesn't trigger me, though. It's a quality lotion that I would and will happily use, but whether I will buy more once this runs out depends on the prices and whether Fruit of the Earth can keep it competitive. The dispenser bottle of the Spa Cology lotion is superior to the Vaseline, but that's not enough by itself to convince me to spend much more.

Good for eczema
We use a lot of lotion in my house, especially in winter and the cooler months when dry skin is an issue. Most of the time what I look for in a lotion is that it be very hydrating and have a great scent. This lotion has no added fragrance, and in fact it smells a bit like oatmeal but there are several reasons I still like it and it works for my family. First the reason it smells of oatmeal is that it has colloidal oatmeal as an ingredient, it is skin soothing and helps with irritation. It is also a key ingredient I look for when looking for a good lotion for eczema. Second is that the dimethicone, a silicone that I normally would avoid is a good protective barrier that keeps moisture in, which with eczema is a must. Lastly it is non-comedogenic so it doesn’t block pores, so it can be used on the face if you so chose. It is a thicker lotion, and absorbs well, there is no greasy or oily feel after applying. Although this isn't the only lotion we will use it is a good option for eczema, and irritated skin and we will continue to use it.

Good lotion, feels nice, does not have an overwhelming smell.
My wife has extremely dry skin and she is always looking for something that will help her with it. I thought this would be something she might like and she does. She has it for every day use and when it gets dry out like it is today she uses it to keep her hands feeling normal. It is pretty decent feeling. I really didn't get an overwhelming scent of anything that might cause someone to be turned off. It goes on easily, doesn't feel weird or greasy and stays on for a while. You do not have to keep reapplying it in order to keep your skin smooth. It really is a good value for the money. It is a lotion and there are many out there that reportedly do the same thing. You just need to find one that works for you. This would be a good place to start.
