Good bike, solid buy
The bike is well-made, especially at this $370+tx price point. It runs fast too. All the components seem well-built and thoughtfully put together.I think some recent negative reviews were on pretty dubious grounds so I am going to address them:* "headlamp didn't work": I suspect they just didn't figure out how - they have to hold the button for 5 full seconds for the headlamp to light up. This is easy to miss if they don't read the manual or have patience.* "no battery indicator": This is false. There is an indicator on the right side of the handlebar.* "slow and weak": I weigh 170lb and felt dangerously fast riding it.* "handlebar leans left and seat post leans right": Wut? Both the handlebar and seat are fully adjustable in all directions. If I change my mind about this bike, I will update this review. For now, I think the money was well spent.

Great Investment
I have been using my 5th wheel penguin for a couple weeks now and I have to say money well spent! For the price this electric bicycle is amazing! It's exactly what I need to get to and from work and it's small so I can fit it in the trunk of a vehicle if I need to.

Monthly update review
I bought this bike at the end of January 2025 I will be update every month or so and will be doing a critical and honest review. My first impressions are pretty good of this bike. it’s a $400 bike I didn’t expect anything crazy. The design is good for what it is. It came pre assembled which isn’t really a big deal to me (putting on a tire and handlebars is a 10 minute job) but to a younger learner it’s a good thing. It’s one of the only mini bikes on the market that has a built in welded rack. I was in the market for a portable e bike something I can get around in nyc while using public transportation. It was either this or the isinwheel U1. The reason I went with this is because of the advertised range… time will tell on that. The built in rack, and the carrying pocket. I wanted to touch upon a couple of things. The handlebar locking is very sturdy when in the ride position, but it doesn’t lock folded. Kind of a bummer, not a huge deal breaker. It’s advertised as fat tire but it didn’t have the tire width anywhere in the page for this bike. The tire size is 14 obviously but the thickness is 2.125 which is not exactly “fat” tire thickness. Again not a big deal cuz they’re thick enough. The thing I don’t like about it the most is the handle/pocket that is made for holding the bike and carrying it around, it’s not on the center of mass. The center of mass is actually 2-3 inches down from that pocket. Because of this, it’s kind of awkward to carry as the rear wheel wants to go down and the front wheel wants to go up while I carry it, I have to hold it straight ever so slightly for it to not turn, my whole buying point on this bike was to be able to bring it around with ease, this isn’t really a deal breaker but it’s a bit of a pain, if you aren’t planning on carrying it around too much, then so far so good. Another thing that they could have added was folding pedals. These come with very generic plastic pedals. Probably $10 on Amazon for an identical one, if they had spent $10 more for providing folding pedals, it would be a huge plus for the penguin because it’s advertised as something that can be carried around. Again a $20 fix, but Nobody wants to carry it if you’re at risk of busting your shin (happened to me the first day I got it) again, if you don’t plan on carrying it around then it’s no biggie, but you have to watch and make sure you dont take a step too far or you might get hurt. the plastic buttons, bell, and reflectors kind of ruin the feel of this nicely built bike. It wouldn’t have costed a lot to use something of better quality, at $400 I can’t really complain it’s just something that could have been the cherry on top even though it’s not the most important thing. The charger comes in this thin plastic bag almost like a limp sandwich baggie. It’s like a laptop charger and they really could have done better with it, but it does its job so that’s okay too. Other than that the bike is solidly built and has a nice feel everywhere else. For $400 it’s really not a bad buy. Will be updating soon.Update: the range is okay on it, it gets me where I need to go. However the battery level indicator is not really that accurate.Update: DO NOT PEDAL WHILE STANDING UP! It’s not a problem with the crank it is very sturdy. The reason why is that this bike has a really small wheel diameter, which makes it very sensitive to small changes in direction, because I stood up to pedal up a large hill, the front wheel lifted off the ground and I turned the handlebars mid air, when the front wheel returned to the ground, the force of me going forward went into the wheel sideways, keep in mind a small turn in the handlebars is a big turn for such a small wheel, ( kind of hard to explain without pictures) but because of this the rim bent completely as well as sending me over the handlebars. 5th wheel sent me a brand new front rim!!! (Had to install on my own)

A bargain introduction to e-bikes for children.
Great for my 10 year old grandson who is a skilled rider. And the E-bike allows him to keep up with his 13 year old brother and 16 year old sister, both good athletes

Perfect compact ebike
We bought this for Christmas for my 11 year old, and he loves it! (he's a big kid, about 100lbs, 5 ft tall). He spends hours a day pedaling around the neighborhood. This is our first experience with an Ebike, but I think it's really nice. We got it with the coupon so paid about $350 for it. My husband and I also love trying it! It's has a bright head lamp and the frame and tires and parts seem sturdy/of good quality (especially seeing my Son is rough on his bike) - overall we are really happy with the purchase.

Bike do not hold the sit properly.
The media could not be loaded. I'm experiencing an issue with this bike: the pole doesn't hold the seat in place, even when tightly secured. Unfortunately, I haven't received a satisfactory solution from either the seller or Amazon. Based on my experience, I wouldn't recommend purchasing this product not because the product is completely bad , just for the ability to solve the problems. My son love the bike but he can't ride it that way .

Cheap
The back brakes don't work at all even pulled as hard as I could, only front brakes work and they really good. Light needed to be rewiring but it's a nice little bike.
