I was super excited when I saw this jar of peppers and it doesn't disappoint! The jar is sealed with a foil inside the lid, as well as a cardboard blocking the pour and sprinkle spouts. The peppers all appear to be whole and in great shape. Because of this, I'm not really sure why the jar has a sprinkle option, but maybe some pepper bits will accumulate near the bottom.We tend to like spicy Chinese food, so this is what we use the peppers for. The peppers are spicy and have some heat, but nothing crazy! The expiration date is two years away!We made Kung Pao chicken two days in a row - the first day with Thai chili peppers, the second day with these Korean peppers. he taste was identical , they looked great in the food and the dish was totally yummy!!!

They taste like high-quality red chilies but don’t stand out as unique compared to other chili varieties. The 5 oz packaging is convenient and provides enough chilies for multiple recipes, especially for making kimchi or spicy stews.

These are good-quality, Korean whole chili peppers. They have a glossy red color with loose seeds settled at the bottom of the container. The peppery flavor is good and packs a nice medium heat. Hot enough to give you a kick without overwhelming the dishes. I used some in a stir-fry dish and they imparted a good, peppery heat as expected.These come in a large, clear plastic bottle. Mine has a best before date of 11/2026. The ingredients are Korean whole chili. No additives. Packed in USA. Overall, I really like these. Good flavor with nice heat. Decently priced. Good product.
