For a beginner/starter garden tool set, I give it a 5 star. You get the basics of what you need to get started planting and gardening. I was really surprised at how well made and solid the tools were and they also included a gift of some small cheap slinder tools with wooden handles that would work for a zen garden or for use in those stress relief sand boxs? The tool carrier is well made with lots of pockets on the front, back and sides. The 3 pockets on front and back have a thin elastic band above the pocket to help secure the tools. The inside is large enough to hold a small bag of dirt, mulch or extra supplies you might need. It basically could hold a gallon jug with a little bit to spare. Also included is a pair of gardening gloves and pruners. The gloves are a one size fits all so, they were a tad bit loose but still fit well enough to be comfortable. The pruners are plenty sharp for those smaller plants and do have a lock on the handle. The material feels like a polyester blend canvas with some thickness to it and can be easily wiped off with a wet rag. The only thing I didn't care for was the way the handles are made. It feels a bit flimsy and awkward when picking it up. Not a big deal breaker for me as I plan on keeping it in the house to keep my tools together and have them handy for when I repot my starter and house plants. Now I can easily move my tools around with me where I need them. It's nice enough that I wouldn't mind giving it as a gift. Do note that the size of the tools are bigger and take up more space in the pockets than what they are shown to be in the ad. You really can't beat it for the price.

The media could not be loaded. I've been gardening for several years, every year come the end of winter I feel the spring around the corner and one of my first missions is garden hand tools. This set is a all in one combination of all the first must haves. First off the hand rake is solid and heavy duty! It caught my attention right off the bat! So is the seeding trowel. The regular trowel is not quite as heavy duty, thumping them you can heard a more hollow sound in the base, but it is going to hold up just as well, most cheap ones are seamed at some place and these are not but solid all the way around. Now the pruners,....I'm in love! I've got kudzu vines which come spring are the bane of my existence for a few weeks until I surrender. Using regular pruners, they constantly lock on me, most are underneath the spring and most of the time after week two I've taking metal cutters and cut them off, these pruners are above the handles on the side! I don't know who devised this concept but bless them! It makes a big difference!!! What looks like little kid garden tools I'm going to use for my seedlings this spring and this handy bag is going to help me transport all those seeds to the appropriate location. This isn't for a year's growing season but several. As a after thought the handles feel very comfortable in my hands, I really like the way they feel. I've got very small hands and the gloves dwarf them but I'm going to keep them in the side pocket for later, I have a feeling come harvest time regardless of the fit I'm going to need/use them around the pricklier cucumbers and melons and such.

I got this MQHUAYU 6 Pcs Garden Tool Set for my wife and she was so excited when she opened the nice looking gift box. The product info page on Amazon lists out the 6 items in the set and it had a bonus that's not mentioned: it came with a 3-piece mini tool set. I had to ask her what it was for and she said that the small tools are great for her indoor potted plants. The 3 main tools are at least 12" in length while the pruner is around 7.5". My wife was also pleased with the tote that organizes everything in one carry.The tools felt solid and of good quality without being too heavy or too light that would signal cheap to me. It's currently $19.19 as I wrote this review with a 20% off coupon so that drops the cost down to $15.32--a great value factoring in the cost and functionalities of the 4 tools plus the mini set. They are that nice that we're considering buying a couple of this set as Christmas gifts.

This set would make a nice gift for a novice gardener. It includes what most people need to get started: a trowel and transplant trowel, a pruner, a fork to loose or turn the soil, gloves, a set of small tools for seedlings, and a bag to arry them in. I have, in fact, received several similar kits over the years. Typically the tools sold in sets are not as good as those sold individually, but this set is better than most I have seen. I particularly like the transplant trowel which is marked so you can measure depth.I ordered this set because I live in the Hawaiian rain forest, and things rust or corrode quickly here, unless they are aluminum. Unfortunately these are an aluminum alloy, so they are likely still susceptible to rust and/ or corrosion...only time will tell. Also, an extra set of tools means I can ask my husband for help weeding ;)The tools in this set are reasonably sturdy, but for the minis... but ten, you do not need a lot of strength to transplant seedlings. The gloves are also very light weight. I would not handle rose bushes, or cacti wearing these but they will keep you hands clean when you are mucking around in the dirt.I rated this set 4 stars because it is better quality than most of the sets I have seen, but not what I consider top quality. They are packed in an attractive box and very suitable for gifting. It is also a good price for a set of qwuality tools.
