It was a real 10 shilling note , definitely not a photocopy.

Q: Why is a 10/- note being sold for £20 its only worth 50p

The ten bob note was in effect replaced with the fifty pence coin after decimalisation. However anything is only worth whatever you are prepared to pay for it.

Q: Can I have an 1968 note

Sadly, British banknotes are no longer dated (last ones dated were 'white Fivers, circa 1950s) but this 10/- note is from the period 1968....just as we went decimal.
