Great mouthpiece
My son started playing a borrowed school instrument 3 months ago. He squeaks ALL the time. He has played the saxophone for more than a year and didn't have this problem. I bought this mouthpiece after reading some reviews. As soon as he started using it two days ago, NO MORE squeaks. Well worth the money. Appears to be durable. He is hard on the mouthpieces, so I also put a mouthpiece saver on it. Some people don't like the feel, but he does.

It works well!
My son broke the mouthpiece on his 50-year-old clarinet (his grandmother's), so we were nervous about whether we'd be able to get a new one. Based on our research it looked like this one would work, so we went with it. It works great! His clarinet sounds great once again; in fact, we think it sounds better than before! (As a funny story: Apparently it's the same mouthpiece brand and style that was broken on his old clarinet; our theory is that it had been broken sometime in the past half-century and replaced.)

great value at this price point
Works as advertised; great value at this price point! Bought as a replacement for a factory Vito mouthpiece after my 6th grader broke mine; he gets better tone now than with the original. I like it better than my wife's B45. Best timbre is in the open register. It sounds a little brassy deep in the chalumeau, and gets very tight high in the clarion, but is otherwise pretty vice-less. For the price-conscious, this will do just fine for general use through high school, and can be a marching band backup after that. Good product.

Amazing!
I’m a fourth year clarinet player, and my mouth piece randomly broke one day in class. My band director recommended a $50 that I for sure did not have the money for so I bought this one. It works just as great as my old one! You just need to put a good amount of cork grease on it, I had a problem that it wouldn’t go barrel even though it was slathered in cork grease. This could just be because it was new, but this mouth piece is amazing for the price! I definitely recommend for beginners, love it!

Great beginner mouthpiece
I purchased this mouthpiece for my daughter who wanted to try to learn to play the clarinet I had when I was in school. The mouthpiece on my clarinet was intended for more advanced users and she could barely make a sound. So, for no more than this mouthpiece cost, It was a no-brainer to get one that would work better for her. It is much easier for her to use and would make a good mouthpiece for a beginner. It has fairly good tone for a plastic mouthpiece and seems to be of good construction.

Decent for the price...but cork too thick
Bought this mouthpiece a couple of months ago to replace my old one. The tone was good considering the price. I wouldn't call it exceptional, but it does work rather well. My only complaint is that the cork was way too thick. I had trouble getting it on my clarinet. I had to lather it in a thick layer of grease (I used Vaseline instead of normal cork grease) and then jam it into my barrel so hard that I thought I'd be breaking the cork. In my opinion, the cork should NOT protrude so visibly above the wood. After using it a couple of times, it got better, but not by much.

Excellent fit
I was looking for a lower priced alternative to the $30 my local music store wanted for re-corking. The fit is spot-on and the quality is every bit as good as the mouthpiece we were replacing. Tone is excellent. Note that you may want to add a new ligature to your shopping basket as well since different mouthpieces can have a slightly different contour and the old one can sometimes develop dents and bends. Purely cosmetic however, the reed retention is just as solid.

From Squeaky & Weird Sounding to CRISP and CLEAR - my son is so happy
This made a major difference in sound quality! MAJOR DIFFERENCE! My son's been renting a clarinet for middle school band and it doesn't sound the greatest. We thought it was him needing to improve ombisher (not sure if that is the correct spelling) but it was not him. It was sounding "airy" or breathy and strange with the old mouthpiece, and squeaky often. We switched him to this one - all the airy and breathy and squeaky sounds stopped - it was loud, clear and made such a nice sound - so very different from the last mouthpiece. He is THRILLED! :)

Very good for this price!
When I received it, there was no markings at all. Thought, it is a cheap chinese, but when I tried it, it was as good as users have been writing - free bowing, great for beginners and intermediate players. Professional players mileage may vary, but I'm quite happy for getting it. Tip for makers - put some markings on it - how I know what it is!

Great purchase!!!
Affordable and turns out that it's a good buy for an amateur playing with no technical experience as, if it doesn't fit, or isn't compatible with yr clarinet; you've only spent a very small amount of money. BTW; I did find that I had to change my reed from a 1.5; to a 2.0+, in order for the clarinet to sound out enough. But when I did do this, it really does sound out quite beautifully(on its good hair day of course, as it's a student clarinet with a personality). Thanks.
