Effective humidity retention, also helps prevent chapped lips!
I do not have an OEM version to compare to, but this is effective and easy to use.The Good:- They work to retain humidity- They work to slow down the airstreamThe Bad:- Slight plastic odor when a new one is openedThe Ugly:- Lots of plastic waste (individually wrapped, and they're made of plastic)- Can be a little finicky to install if you're not familiar with them- Does block *some* of the pressure, may impact therapy pressure slightlyI don't have an AirMini, just the AirSense 11. I got these because I've been trying to find *something* that would slow down or redirect the airstream off my lips so they don't chap. These absolutely work for that purpose. I still need to use the Carmex every night, but that by itself wasn't enough. These by themselves also wouldn't be enough, but the two together work, and my lips are happy!I live in an alpine desert with average humidity around 15%. I did test these with the humidification off on my AirSense and while I did notice a very small feeling of dryness in my throat in the morning it was not severe. These are definitely effective at retaining moisture in your mask.If you use these with a PAP that does humidification, you will have a LOT of condensation in your mask. I recommend experimenting with your settings to find the right balance of moisture without causing condensation buildup. Whether or not you see visible condensation buildup, you should absolutely let these air out and dry after use. I have long been in the habit of letting my PAP run for a few minutes after I take my mask off so that any built-up condensation or humidity in my hose can dry out and prevent mold, and that's even more necessary with these installed. The manufacturer recommends replacing theme very 30 days, and considering the risk of mold and bacteria I agree with that recommendation.I did notice a plastic odor when I opened one. The odor went away just by leaving it in the open air for an afternoon. You will probably want to open a new one in the morning and let it air out before using it in the evening. These are made of plastic and paper, with a two part plastic case and a coil of corrugated paper in between. I do not have the equipment to test these for safety or compliance with any health and safety regulations. Therefore use them at your own risk. Are they worth the price? For what they're made of, not at all. The manufacturing cost of one of these couldn't be more than 10 cents. But they are cheaper than the ResMed OEM price (which isn't saying much), and if you need them you have very few options. If your insurance will cover PAP supplies, go that route. At this time I know of no way to "DIY" a replacement corrugated paper insert that would be safe to breathe through and effective. If these are at all comparable to OEM in terms of regulatory compliance, the paper should have an antimicrobial coating and near-zero particle shedding; so they don't grow mold easily and you won't be breathing in paper fibers. The plastic should also have a near-zero VOC off gassing. DIYing something comparably safe and effective would be very VERY difficult, and those tests and compliance requirements probably explain some of the high cost. But I will be looking.

These do catch and "recycle" moisture well. Breath easy!
These fit inside the F20 mask as shown in the picture - the small blue edge tap Up, bigger edge tab Down. Once aligned it snaps into position with ease and snaps back out just as easily for cleaning the mask. I have a humidifier and heated hose on my machine, when I removed the mask in the morning there were a few drops of water in the mask and the HumidX looked damp but not dripping wet. These areas are dry during use without the HumidX, The HumidX is capturing and condensing exhaled moisture from my breath, then it's evaporating that moisturize into the inhaled air. The net effect is to add moisture to the inhaled air - that moisture that would otherwise exit the mask during exhalation. I'm not sure if this product is intended for use in conjunction with a CPAP or BiPAP that has a humidifier or is intended only to add humidity for those machines that lack that feature. I did have a very good night's sleep though! The humidifier and hose heater, on machines so equipped, consume a fair amount of electrical power when those features are enabled. While this may not be much of a concern for normal use when plugged into AC power, it's is a concern when camping or at other times when the machine has to be operated on limited battery power. As this product adds moisture "for free" so to speak, as it uses not electricity to function, it could be very useful for such times when off-grid. Please note I have not tested this using battery power, and this is not advice to do so without consulting your doctor.

It fit better than the on brand version
This brand was very similar to the branded version for my travel CPAP machine. Sleeping was not an issue. When it came to putting in this cartridge, it snapped into place quicker than the branded version. Normally it is a struggle, especially if there are dexterity issues, but this wasn't a factor with these cartridges. For the amount of cartridges and ear of use, I would recommend getting these.

Fits as needed
This fits my CPAP machine and I change them out regularly. Good price for the quantity. Well made and good quality.

Didn’t work for me
They looked like the quality was good but they didn’t work with my machine. The description said they work with AirTouch F20 but it didn’t for me.

little issues getting them in but works
Though they worked what I forgot was we changed to a different one so though we got to try them unfortunately they only fit the 20's not 30's which is on me but honestly think that they would be better being able to fit multiple sizes or multifunctional. Won't lie did use some colorful language together in to fit as you can only put them in a certain way but once you figure it out your good but since we can't use they we have donated them and that person is in love with them and very happy & who knows they will probably get more of them as they do fix a common issue

Lower priced, but similar to OEM & brand ones
The filters are round and well made, easy to replace and work as well as OEM and brand ones. A blue, plastic shell embraces the filtering material. The shell fits well the round opening for it in the full face masks type AirFit F20 and AirTouch F20 connected via tubing to an AirMini CPAP machine. Removing an old and inserting a new HumidX filer is quick and easy. They costs less than OEM and brand ones.
