I installed these on my fiancé‘s 2015 Yamaha R3, since she just started riding and I wanted to protect the bike. She ended up dropping the bike in a parking lot (not moving) and these frame sliders did a great job saving the fairings (they were already scratched from previous owner, so I can’t confirm zero damage, but the plastics were not cracked). Plus, the rear spools work great with my pitbull stand. I cannot speak for dropping these sliders at speed, and hopefully I won’t have to. I highly recommend picking up a set of these, it’s cheap Insurance for your bike fairings. They are also not a complete eye sore and look fitting on the bike.

Many review this stuff but have never actually crashed with them on. I have crashed with these and well they really work. Buy them.

Shogun is my go to frame slider manufacturer. I have used Shogun sliders on my 07 GXSR600, 06 SV650, 09 Ninja 250, and many more bikes. I've only had to use my sliders on my SV and Ninja but they protected the bikes, even the fairings! I try to buy Shogun whenever possible.

You generally don't think you'll need this, but trust me - You want them on your bike. My bike got blown over in a nasty windstorm and slid across the pavement. Thanks to this set of sliders the damage my bike sustained was minimal. The slider absorbed most of the damage and prevented my fairing and gas tank from getting destroyed. Put these on your bike!

Fit perfectly. Had a few issues getting the stock bar ends off, but after a quick google search I learned a trick how to fix the issue I was having. They seem durable and I rather not lay my bike down to test them!

Quick and easy install on the R3. There are no directions in the box so you'll have to pull those from Shogun's website which isn't bike specific. Either way you really don't need them, just the torque specs which you should be able to find with a quick google search.

Super easy to install. Will protect your plastics well in the even of a drop.
