Cutting boardWhat’s the biggest cutting board you’ve ever seen? I assure you, you ain’t seen nothing yet.I set a gallon of milk on the table next to the cutting board just to give us a sense of the size of this thing.This is absolutely not the cutting board for a single adult living in a small apartment.I cook almost every day for a family of five, though. We eat a lot of fruits and vegetables and we try to have a salad with every meal, so I spend a lot of time chopping. This board will allow me to chop large quantities of vegetables without any of them falling off the side onto the counter or floor.It’s also perfect for carving whole turkeys, chickens, roast beef etc. It has a groove carved around the edge to catch the juices from such carving.The bottom of the board has two handles carved out so that it can be easily lifted from a flat counter.I think there are three main factors to consider before buying this:1. Weight. I weighed it, and it’s 8 lbs 14.3 oz. That’s *much* heavier than a standard cutting board.2. Washing. I have a fairly large kitchen sink. Even so, this board just *barely* fits vertically in the sink at the sink’s widest point (see photo). It can’t go to the bottom, because the bottom of the sink curves in a bit.3. Storage. We have a standing shelf for tea, and I’m going to store this vertically behind that shelf. Make sure you’ve got a plan for where you’ll keep this thing before you buy it.I should also note that what I got is the 20“ x 20“ version. I cannot imagine needing or wanting the even larger and heavier 20“ x 30“ version.If you’ve gotten this far and you’re still interested, go for it. I’m very happy with it, and I plan to use it for many years to come.

This is a great, large cutting board that I keep out at all times on my kitchen island. It's just smaller than the dimensions of the island, but works perfectly for it. I have a larger farmhouse sink so that cleaning this is not that much of a hassle, however, i would imagine if someone did not have a large sink, needing to clean this would be a bit of a hassle. Cutting board is of good quality, and measures true at 20"x20".

It's big and matches the dimensions. I used hand sized estimates to show the SO but seriously, use a tape measure and realize it's big. By comparison, it's top of a flattop cooking area big. You can make a feast on it big. You can feed hundreds with this cutting board big.It's three layers of Bamboo and about 3/4 of an inch thick. It's hefty and feels tough. There's a thin groove all the way around for liquids to capture.Only changes I'd suggest is that on one side there was a drain of the channel, a connection to drain the channel. And second, please include some care instructions with this. Some suggested cleaning tips and/or oil. Yes, we can all read up something online, but almost all wood chopping boards I've owned have some kind of care guide. Still, VERY good and VERY happy with this big ol' board.

Wow what a board! This thing is big 20x20 and the crazy thing is there is an even bigger size available. My picture shows 1 and 1/2 racks of ribs and chicken breasts with plenty of room left, so you get the idea. If you love to grill or entertain then this is your board. It is made from bamboo, thick & sturdy, it has the groove all the way around the board to catch any juice while your slicing and it also has a handle on both sides making it easy to carry. Clean up is tricky, I have a fairly large sink and this took a little maneuvering, it is also important to note that this requires oiling from time to time which is standard care. This also makes a great charcuterie board or to use for serving really anything where you have a few people

love the size, turns the whole depth of my counter into a cutting board and wide size stands up to almost any taskbamboo is a softish wood for a cutting board and may splinter over time, hence the 4 stars rather than 5, but will return if this is an issue and upgrade or downgrade the rating
